  1. As i said mate, open razor synapse and re-calibrate, the driver updates are handled by razer synapse as far as i can tell, when you go to Razer's driver page they simply link you to a download for razer synapse.
  2. I had the same problem when i bought mine (exact model as yours, deathadder chroma), you need to re calibrate the mouse to your mouse pad surface, open razar synapse, go to the mouse, on the right hand side is the calibrate tab.
  3. Hmm copper in a coil with electricity flowing through it? i don't know if it's harmful or not, but it will be creating a magnetic field, not a strong one, but one indeed, i found out first hand the hard way. I'm a welder by occupation, one day while doing some heavy, high power welding (i think i was drawing around 30KW through a 1000 volt, 50 amp circuit) with my welding leads in a coil as they were about 30 meters to long, went to weld, hmm real cold, needs more power, walked back to the welder to find a 56 KG steel oxygen bottle had been pulled over by the magnetic field and landed on top of the $45'000 welding machine ;/
  4. honestly, if you find an answer to this question, please let me know.
  5. I'm 100% agreeing with the other's on here, just jump into it. A little preface here, I am technologically dumb, I grew up in a house in the middle of the bush (forrest, ect) with a diesel generator and a wind turbine for power, tank water and no phone line, dropped out of high school at 15 to to do an Apprenticeship, never knew much about computer's ect, I played games in my PS1/2/3 but never got into computers past check e-mails and buy stuff on E-bay until about 12 months ago when I started watching LTT, i got hooked, lurked the forums here for a long time before signing up, and just absorbed it all. now I've build my first gaming PC, learned how to configure things, trouble shoot (alot to learn still), OC the CPU and GPU safely, and I spend way to much time thinking about how it works.. But what interest's me most about PC's, is that i did not realise how much engineering, physics, quatum mechanics, I love learning HOW a PC works, not just what it does, so i'm loving that as well.
  6. My favourite has to be my grandfather, I went to visit him a few month's ago to help him put a pole saw (chainsaw on a stick) together and download the manual for it as well, while I'm sitting at his desk I noticed a GPU sitting there, so i asked what's that sitting there for? he then tell's me that his computer stopped working so he called a guy to come fix it, guy came out, took the GPU out, charged him $250 (that's not a typo) and went on his way, I explained to him what the GPU is meant to do and that he likely just had to update the drivers and if he wanted I can put it back in and have it running again in 10 minutes, and he say's "no, my computer guy know's what he's doing, all good" no point arguing with him, stubborn old man he is, so no worries pop, I took that sucker home and put the GPU in one of my folding rigs and set it to work
  7. They're pretty different in person, Koala's live in tree's, eat'a leaves ect, the wombat's live in underground burrow's and can't climb tree's, Kids and countless dogs have been killed chasing them down they're burrow's, they squash the dog/kid/small animal against them and the wall of the burrow. Koala's can be nasty too, they're claw's are about two inches long and sharp to climb tree's, i hit one in my car once and broke it's leg, so i though hey i'll do the right thing and take it to the Vet, put it in the back seat, and it literally destroyed the entire rear interior of my car, as in the seat foam was like peanut packaging, and clawed my arm's badly enough to need 23 stitches in total when i got him out of the car.
  8. yep, They're a very common Australian animal, very solidy built, i was traveling at about 60 Km/h when I hit it, and the bugger just got up and walked into the bushes.
  9. For me, it's any game in the Gran Turismo series, When i was a kid the very first computer of any kind that my family ever bought was a Sony playstation, so me and my brother's played it for hour's and day's on end, I've 100% completed every single gran turismo game that's come out since, I know some people don't like how the games are really pretty similar for gameplay, but i actually like that from a nostalgia point of view, reminds me of being a kid while also having a very fun online racing game i can play with friends. Few other games are Resisdent Evil and tekken.
  10. You gotta be careful with that, I had a VERY similar thing happen to me that left me stranded halfway across the nullabore for two day's. I hit a wombat driving at night, and similar to you number plate was bent, but no other damage, no radiator leaks ect so i thought i was in the clear until two weeks later when the bottom tank let go literally 250km from the nearest town while driving up north, turns out i hit it hard enough to bend the radiator, which over the two weeks weakened with vibration and eventually let so. so just keep an eye on it.
  11. You would actually be surprised, a completely stock R32 drive train (except for the clutch) will easily handle 550 crank HP, around there the Clutch pack for the 4WD system will need to be upgraded, and at around 750hp you start to run into problem's with the stock gear's in the R32 and R33 GTR's, but the getrag 6 speed in the R34's will handle around 1000 crank HP stock, at around 1200 crank hp is where they start to fail, and around the same for the rear diff (the rear diff centre is actually far beefier then a ford 9 inch), I don't think I've ever seen a front diff, drive shaft and prop shaft fail that was the result of to much power, usually shoddy maintenance or damage.

  13. I thought that's what most people on here counted as cooking anyway?
  14. For the Questions of the week, my year is 1989, the year my dream car (which i've owned one of now not anymore ) the R32 GTR, I still fantasize about putting a supercharged LS3 in one WHILE retaining the 4WD system, I think it can be done, and actually pretty easily, but only with a dry sump and would need quite a few custom parts including drive shafts, so not cheap. Not that I don't like a nice RB26DETT, but I can't stand high powered, low displacement turbo cars on the street, i thought about building an RB34DET with a Spool 3.4 liter stroker kit, in the RB 30 block with an RB25 head (variable cam timing, and with a neo head no worse flow then the RB26), low rev limit (about 7k) and a borg warner variable geometry turbo... okay I just went on a little tangent there, sorry,
  15. i usually cook with the welding equipment in my shed, being a wombat I only know how to use the welder (it's my only skill...)
  16. See how you do, include the Vegemite (if your not Aussie), record it and post it on youtube for our entertainment as well. Now disclaimer, we swear alot here, I mean alot, the word starting the C colourfully used to describe woman's lady bits everywhere else in the world is possibly our favourite word, i mean we say that word alot, it can describe your best mate, but never your worst enemy , the Video is not offensive, but does have inappropriate for kids language, being I think I've seen some swearing thrown around here before while stalking the LTT forums, some forums don't allow it ect ect, if the mods think this is to inappropriate, just take it it down Edit: oh yeah, that is (in my experience) how we talk to eachother... yeah some people might struggle with it, But I am a bogan.
  17. Yeah mate, I wouldn't have a clue either, but i'm not going to argue with it.
  18. alright the issue litteraly just solved itself for some reason, just loaded a CPU WU and started folding on it
  19. I'm also trying to setup a second dedicated Folding PC, the GPU in my other PC isn't supported by F&H (will be upgrading it to one thats suports it soon) so for now it can only CPU fold on it's intel i7 870 CPU, but it won't fold on the CPU either.
  20. so i've been folding pretty much 24/7 for a few weeks, last week i decided to shut my system down so i could clean the dust out but upon booting back up my client finished it's CPU WU, then never loaded another, i've been trying to figure it out for a few days now and i dont even know where to start having read through all the info on here. anyone have any idea's? i've changed the CPU slot to use an even number of threads (it was set to defult (7 threads, 1 for the GPU) so i changed it to 6 seeing if that would help, but still won't load a CPU WU.
  21. I recently got myself a Razer black widow tournament edition 2014 gaming keyboard for $54 AUD (about $40 usd), I only bought it because it was cheap as i actually really like having number pad in a full keyboard, rather then the half layouts of the tournament edition.
  22. hmm interesting, i do know there are way's to run two (or more) GPU's other then SLI, and for F&H i don't need them to run in SLI anyway, but i dont know anything about it either, but since i only need 1 980Ti for gaming, maybe it would be possible to set it up so one GPU is constantly folding, while the other run's my system and games, hmm, at the moment i pause folding to run games, perhaps i can set it up so that one GPU fold's 24/7, while ther other in a different F&H client only fold's when the PC in idling maybe? thanks, that answers my question, my OCD won't object once i close the PC case but it will be screaming at me while installing the second card.
  23. So with the 1080 coming out, i'm noticing alot of secondhand 980Ti's coming onto the market for pretty cheep (under $400 AUD in alot of cases). I'm thinking about putting another in my gaming/folding PC, mostly for folding PPD as i only have a 1080P monitor atm, having two 980Ti's won't make alot of difference, and still isn't enough to run 4k consistantly over 60 hz anyway. Question is, will i run into any problems running two different brand 980 Ti's together, I currently have an MSI 6G 980Ti, i've found an Asus Strix 980 Ti locally, the guy's askinf $350 AUD for it (considering that before the 1080's relese most 980ti's were $1000+ GPU's here in aus, that's pretty good), will running the two together cause any problems. Cheer's all.
  24. I started working full time at the age of 15, and worked part time with school before then too, i moved in with my girlfriend when i was 18, worked 80-100 hour work weeks in the hottest places you could think of for the last 6 years in the oil and gas industry, i have two kids, and am in the middle of getting divorced and i havnt seen my daughter in over a month and am currently unemployeed and suffering from PTSD... I'm only 24 years old... i feel so much older at the moment.
