  1. With pen and paper it's easy to forge one vote, but doing it on the scale to actually influence an election requires a large amount of people and for you to trust everyone in the group. Changing votes online requires one person with an internet connection. Overall, neither are perfect, but the traditional one is better. Also fun fact: Britain uses pencil and paper because we are worried about people changing the ink in pens to invisible ink and votes after it not being counted. There is no invisible pencil.
  2. And that's why electronic voting machines shouldn't be used...
  3. Personally I perfer 60fps over 4k, I have seen 4k videos and they're great and all that, but 30fps -> 60fps is a much greater jump than 1080P -> 4k.
  4. So far ive cleaned it 3 times in just over a year, so about every 4 months.
  5. Modded - Kebal space program because there are literally hundreds (or thousands) of hours of game you can play and it doesn't get boring. - Minecraft is very good when modded, and there is a wide range of mods. Only single player or with friends, the community is full of toxic hacking 5 year olds. - Skyrim gets a mention purely for the music and sounds. And the game is still pretty good, even though it's pretty old. - Cities skylines is also a great game, looks amazing and is really fun. But it's slightly ruined by all the DLC. Vanilla - Portal 1&2 - Pick them up on sale and they're like £1.50, and they're some of the best games ever. Also has amazing music. - Borderlands 2 - I really liked the atmosphere they created and the co-op mode is great with friends. (Also it's the only game I know that has a colourblind mode, so bonus marks there)
  6. Dont go for a 1060 3gb, 3gb will not be enough vram for future games.
  7. The intergrated gpu has been disabled becuase of the graphics cad being in place. If you go into the BIOS options and find something that sounds like "enable igpu" (or something similar), set it to enabled, then reboot. The VGA port should be working now.
  8. Its the processor, the FX chip is very old and is a really bad chip nowadays. Try using HWmonitor for better accuracy.
  9. Never heard that happen before, no clue to why. Would be interesting to know if someone knew why.
  10. Ok, I always check the simple things first and I didn't read you saying you changed them, so I went for the batteries. (It wasn't meant to be patronising if it came across that way.)
  11. Have you changed the batteries?
  12. Clear steam cache?, it fixes a surprising amount of problems.
  13. Have you tried rebooting the whole PC. (As in turn it off, wait a minute, then turn it on again.) The old and reinstalled drivers might be conflicting or it might not be using the correct one.
  14. You could try setting/changing fan curves in the bios. That might make it less loud. (I haven't listened to the sound so I can't tell if something is broken or just it's on full load all the time.)
  15. I dont know if he edited it, but it says right in the 1st line.
  16. Almost certainly temperature, try cleaning it.
  17. Judging by a quick Google search, 50 Canadian dollars.
  18. I think it will work, but if I remember rightly they will both clock at the lower clock speed.
  19. You probably could, by I wouldn't recommend it if you have a rear exhaust fan (which almost everyone does), as then you would just have two fans blowing in the same place in the same direction.
  20. Cryorig make some good coolers that dont interfere with RAM, look for one in your price range that has "universal" in the name and it wont interfere.
  21. I think this is why we have status updates.
  22. Don't take the specs Amazon gives you, find them on the manufacturer website. I had listened to them I would think my 1050ti has 4mb or vram.
  23. You can also move the fan higher up the cooler and have it sit just above the ram, but this may increase the hight if it comes above the heat pipes.
  24. As long as you fill all the holes with working cables, it doesn't matter if they came from the PSU or your gpu box.
  25. Any reason for getting the 500gb WD Blue rather than the 1tb WD Blue? The 1tb version is only 55 cents more for double the space. (Both from Amazon) 500gb - https://pcpartpicker.com/product/HGTmP6/western-digital-internal-hard-drive-wd5000aakx 1tb - https://pcpartpicker.com/product/q3Z2FT/western-digital-internal-hard-drive-wd10ezrz
