  1. Sounds like PC is shutting down, might be PSU issue.
  2. Best case scenario: Broken display cable Worst case scenario: Dying GPU Both cases shows similar symptoms (black display but everything else is functional).
  3. I had exact same issue as your. That card is probably dead even though it spins and lights up no issue. My card (also RX 5700) now still sitting in my drawer.
  4. That right there might your main culprit. If I were you, I would roll back to Windows 10.
  5. You should consider fresh windows on brand new HDD/SSD because the only culprit left is your SSD. 1. It should not be windows issue because you did fresh install 2. It's not heat issue because you ran stress testing just fine 3. It's normally not PSU issue because it doesn't shutdown BIOS normally do not get corrupted under normal usage. BUT there is a chance the stock OC setting causes the crash.
  6. You need to start saving, sooner or later once it refuses to display, you'll need new GPU.
  7. My RX5700 was exhibiting the same as issue yours. Sadly I had to replace the GPU because after a while it refuses to output display whatsoever.
  8. My RX 5700XT blew, not really sure why. Either it's air starved or power starved. I had 550 watt C rating PSU and "gaming" PC case. It seems like last 2 gen of GPU, anything above RTX xx60 dan RX xx60 really need decent supporting component. I personally wouldn't touch used 6700xt without B rating PSU and brand new case.
  9. I feel you man. GPU prices are still high even after crypto crash. I had $100, I can only afford GTX 1660 (used). For $100 + a little bit there might also RX 5600 (used).
  10. Most likely one of the capacitor died considering the age. If you can find local electronic repair shop, they probably can just replace the caps and resistors with exact same value and you'll be good to go for another decade. IMO you would be hard pressed to find better system at $500 mark. Cheapest AV Receiver is already $300, not including Subwoofer, center speaker, front speaker, and rear speaker which could easily another $200 EACH ($800 total). Edit: I'm not surround guy, but me personally Center Speaker + Front Speaker is more than enough for movies. My Wharfedale put out more bass than I already needed, so I also don't run any subwoofer.
  11. I personally would go with NZXT C1200, this is stil A Tier. And you cannot go wrong with ATX 3.0 https://cultists.network/140/psu-tier-list/
  12. That's the thing with dead CPU. First they would crash under load, then crash at idle, and next you know it no display whatsoever. If you can find repair shop or friend with spare CPU that would be great start to check. Yes, PSU blows up sometimes. But EVGA GT is still B tier PSU.
  13. I know it sounds crazy. Have you considered RMA your CPU? Believe it or not, it sounds like half-dead CPU to me.
  14. I had almost same issue, then I RMA my CPU (Ryzen 5-3500X). My local distributor concluded it was dead CPU. It worked fine for 2 years, barely play any games, run very cool 70c at gaming since I always use vsync. But it's dead anyway, might be worth checking spare CPU or service center that has spare CPU to try.
  15. IIRC Thermaltake GF3 comes with white variant.
  16. Spec: Ryzen 5 3500x Asrock B450 Steel Legend (new) Klev 16 GB RAM FSP HV Pro 500 Watt RX 5700 XT Background: My old Gigabyte B450 Gaming bricked and then do not post display at all, so me and my IT friend conclude bricked motherboard. So I buy new mobo. The trouble: The LED on the motherboard would light up and the monitor picked up connection. BUT click the power button nothing turned on. I tried jumping the power switch and nothing happens. My concern: 1. When I first installed I forgot putting stand off on the far edges of the motherboard 2. I reinstalled the standoffs, but the the right top corner won't stick because of case defect. So standoff on that screw hanging loose. 3. I might installed the CPU wrong 4. Jumping the PSU works so hopefully not PSU problem 5. I left the RAM dusting for few weeks while waiting new motherboard If you guys have info if there is anything else that might go wrong, any info appreciated.
  17. AMD 23 driver are known having stability issue. Try rolling back to 23.5.1 and see if it's stable.
  18. I plug the monitor to my work laptop, it works just fine. Thanks, I still can't rule out mobo issue. Does A8 9600 works with B450M? I remember having same issue waaay back installing ivy bridge CPU on sandy bridge mobo without BIOS update. It display blank too.
  19. Spec: Ryzen 5 3500x 16GB RAM FSP HV 500 watt PSU Gugabtye B450M Gaming RX 5700 XT 2 weeks ago my PC had video glitch, then video went blank. I cannot get any display ever since, not even to the Bios. The fan and everything would spin but the monitor would not display anything. I had same case last month. But last month power cycling temporarily fixed the issue, now not anymore. Things I've tried so far: 1. Clearing CMOS 2. Use spare CPU A8 9600, for onboard display out but still no display signal 3. Use different RAM 4. Power cycle I'm starting to lose hope since it cannot even display BIOS. If anyone had same issue, any feedback will be appreciated
  20. You can roll back windows update? Thanks, I'll see if it helps.
  21. Spec: Ryzen 5 3500x Gigabyte B450M Gaming RX 5700 XT HDD as boot driver for Windows 10 Background: So last week Windows 10 suddenly had an update that also made my GPU driver not compatible anymore. So I ran DDU and perform clean install AMD Adrenaline 23.5.2 driver. Issue: Whereas the previous driver had no issue whatsoever the new 23.5.2 sometimes crashes when launching games. Recently it went from bad to worse. Crashes issue includes: 1. Driver failed to load -> games cannot start 2. Games load but suddenly the display signal gone (monitor blank) followed by usage spike (GPU fan ramping up). The game is still running since there is sound and the game is still progressing. 3. PC display turn off despite windows power setting I put as Never. Main problem is once the display signal suddenly gone the issue do not get resolved with hard reset. Even after hard reset it still refuses to output display. So I had to unplug everything including power cable to get signal again. I tried to use previous driver but windows won't let me since it said the driver is not compatible. It seems like Windows or AMD issue, I'm honestly running out of option since I can't roll back the windows or the driver at this point. If anyone knows anything about the new windows or AMD issues?
  22. Didn't know there was double click setting. I've lowered the speed, I'll see if it helps.
  23. Now that you mention it all my computer are on logitech mouse. Not on warranty since my last purchase was over 1 year ago. Maybe I'll consider switching brand next time around.
  24. So I have 2 separate computer, for work and for home-use (both Windows 10). Past few months I've been having double clicking issue, like I click once but register in the windows as double click. The problem is repetitive on different computer and mouse. Even when using phones (android 11) I encounter occasional unintended double click. Anyone had same issue? I'm afraid it's not so much of computer issue but rather personal issue.
  25. Best case scenario: You just need disable all the Radeon effect in Adrenaline software (image sharpening, etc.), reset the setting in Adrenaline and probably monitor setting too.
