  1. The best thing about this phone for me is how good it looks, easily the best looking android phone. The best thing about dbrand is how they reached out to Linus and insisted the phone was giving away at the end of the review. Awesome stuff.
  2. I really liked the ability to customise the UI to your own taste.
  3. I'm waiting on the Nexus 5 being released around about October time. The Nexus range is excellent value for money and I doubt there will be anything that will be able to match it in terms of value for money.
  4. Yes the battery life on my Nexus 7 has been outstanding since the 4.3 update.
  5. It will not improve or increase your max bandwidth, that's determined by your ISP and the package/plan you're on. Although it may well improve the 'speed' it takes for certain web functions that require domain name server lookup, such as connecting to websites. So no, if you want a faster transfer rate when downloading then you will need to upgrade your broadband package with your ISP.
  6. In my younger days I would pirate games, typically Football Manager. I also bought a PS3, flashed it and downloaded games via usenet when it got hacked a few years ago. It's not something I do anymore though as it's far more convenient and reliable to just buy games off steam etc. I do however download TV shows and the occasional film (I prefer going to the cinema for films.) Most TV shows I can watch as I have Sky anyway but some take longer to come out here in the UK plus I prefer to watch in HD with no ads so that's why I download TV. I'm not much into music but if I am then I use spotify or go old school and put the radio on.
  7. I just picked up a white Mario Kart edition 3DS XL and I'm loving it so far.
  8. I've played game Dev Story on my phone and watched a lot of Game Dev Tycoon on youtube and I thought it was the same company but just ported it over to PC, changed a few bits and gave it a snazzy name. It's a carbon copy.
  9. It would be a shame if 3rd party developers were unable to get the most out of the Wii U. You can almost guarantee Nintendo will bring out some amazing games over its life cycle but it would be a real pity if all we got from everyone else was half arsed ports.
  10. Having heard so much about the two big next gen consoles over the past week or two, I've come to the sudden realisation that I have no desire for either of them. Unless come E3 they're some killer ip's announced that just can't be ignored I'm pretty sure I'm going to stick to PC for the more graphically demanding games. Obviously the Wii U won't be able to compete with the PS4 or Xbox One in terms of raw power but gameplay wise I think it offers a unique gameplay experience that has/will have some of the most fun to play games on the market. I'm not interested in TV on my console or the ability to share my gameplay and if the Wii U has a pre PS4/XboxOne price drop then I can see a lot of people picking one up, including me.
  11. Wow I feel old. I can't remember the exact first game that I playe(prob Paperboy or something)d but I remember buying Robocop Vs Terminator on tape for the CM 64.
  12. Alan Wake that I picked up in the humble bundle deal.
  13. It was always going to be the case with E3 around the corner that most developers and publishers were going to hold their cards close to their chests. I may be wrong but I would be surprised if we didn't see some amazing new IP's at E3.
  14. I think a lot of people will be left to eat some humble pie with regards to xbox one once E3 comes around.
