  1. not in any rush at all, tbh i was going to wait for the new stuff to come out in-case i regret not doing so, thanks for the suggestions appreciated.
  2. thanks man, i'll take a look at some of these parts!
  3. So I want a new PC to work towards, I've had my current PC for around 4 years, (GTX 970, i7 4790K), and its lasted me well. However, I want to start buying parts for a new PC build, I'm planning on using a 34" ultrawide monitor (the ASUS ROG SWIFT PG348Q). I want to be able to run most new games (like Fallout 76, Metro Exodus, Cyberpunk 2077, Dying Light 2) at a solid 100fps at medium/high settings. I don't really know much about new parts so I was hoping someone could come out with a build, I'd like the case to be black and sleek if possible, everything else doesn't matter much to me. Side notes; I do a bit of video-editing so some good ram should be included Edit; I'm from UK, so prices in GBP would be useful. Many thanks!
  4. I'm looking for an ultra-wide monitor to use for gaming, I currently have a GTX 970 and i7 4790K, but plan to upgrade to a GTX 2070 sometime in the future (not sure what to upgrade my CPU to). The only competitive games I play are League of Legends, Fortnite and CS:GO. All the other games are story-based co-ops that I play with friends to chill out with, I'm pre-ordering Fallout 76 and Metro Exodus to play on a new monitor, but I don't know what one to get. I'd like it to have 144Hz refresh rate, with G-Sync. Please suggest things
  5. yep! no mods left, completely uninstalled everything... just did that, clean install and the issue persists...
  6. I upgraded to windows 10, and i managed to get fallout new vegas to work, I installed the 'darnified ui' mod, and it just wouldn't load no matter what... I uninstalled everything and reinstalled, but now the game won't launch... Any suggestions?
  7. tried it but still crashing, thanks for the effort though
  8. So I upgraded to windows 10, and I tried to play fallout 3 goty but it just instantly crashes whilst loading. I can go through the launch box where you actually click play and change graphical settings, but I'm unable to do anything in the game, it runs for 0.25s of the intro and crashes, is there anyway to get this game to work on windows 10 or is it just impossible? Any help is appreciated.
  9. I need a switcher for my PC and Xbox (maybe PS4 in the future) so i dont have to do it manually, so it can easily connect to my main monitor. I was wondering though, I'm currently using a display port cable, but I was wondering if I will notice any difference on my 24" 144Hz monitor if i switch to HDMI for the HDMI switcher?
  10. As you can see in the preview box everything looks weird, and below the project media box there is some weird stuff, from where i drag a window over the program and that gets stuck there. This started a while ago Also, sometimes when I'm watching something on my second monitor a piece of the video gets stuck there, and vanishes a bit later. If you need to know any of my settings just tell me, thanks for looking.
  11. So I changed my microphone from my headset mic to my blue yeti for a video, and I could only hear through one ear. I changed back and the problem persists, any help?
