    happy bday to me

    Thank you!
  4. You're good there mate. Normally a low end motherboard doesn't need VRM heatsinks. They don't get too hot. Especially for a 2300x.
  5. Do you not happen to have a USB Flash drive? Or any MicroSD or SD cards with USB card readers?

    Yup. Only RGB

haha. My Antec X1-E luckily came with windowed panel and couple of red 120 fans. And I got 3 white LED fans, because they were cheaper than normal fans. This was way before than "RGB" trend started

    Status Update

    damn. that's a nice mod.
  8. Yesterday, I built a 9th gen system. I thought it'd work with Asus Aura as there was a logo on RAM package. But, it didn't it. Ended up downloading iCUE software and it worked there.
  9. Overclocking with BCLK isn't a good idea, generally. It could cause damage to CPU, PCIe cards, North Bridge, RAM., etcc whatever is connected on Motherboard, basically. But, most of the time this wouldn't happen. Especially if you have a super high end motherboard. Motherboards in laptop are like "there" for CPU to work and support other basic stuff. I guess that's why they don't include BCLK in any of it.
  10. I was talking about laptop. I know enough AFAIK, I haven't seen a BCLK OC on any laptops.
  11. I don't think you can change the Explorer theme alone. If you set the theme to Dark in "Personalize", it's all black everywhere. I believe it's since 1809 version.
  12. gotcha. So, 240 rad seems to be only option here Okay. Thanks both!
  13. Hello there, At my work, one of our Workstations seems to be having some thermal throttling problem. We have E5-2679 V4, a 20 core Xeon which produces heat upto 200W TDP. But, may I know what the max that a H80i V2 can hold? Please let me know. Thanks!

    So cute!

    aww
  18. Do you have any more info on that BSOD? Like the error code or the message that it says? Also, it's not a bottleneck in anyway. You're good in that department.
  19. Technically, yes. But, not by deleting the folders here. You have to use Disk Cleanup option. It'll delete the files if they're safe to delete. Or https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/manufacture/desktop/clean-up-the-winsxs-folder
  20. RMA. Bad drive. It happens. If you want data off of it, use something like this https://www.amazon.com/Sabrent-2-5-Inch-Adapter-Optimized-EC-SSHD/dp/B011M8YACM/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1545883675&sr=8-3&keywords=2.5+inch+to+usb+3 and try attaching it as external drive and see if it detects. If not you're out of luck. Pretty sure you can RMA the drive.
  21. I have done something like this before. But, your best place for this to search is tonymacx86. They might have some step by step solutions for that. Clover EFI is the base where you need to start from. Unless you're booting on a Legacy BIOS, you need to search differently.
  22. Not really. But just to be safe, I'd use Display Driver Uninstaller once to uninstall the driver completely and install the latest one. Not gonna hurt
