    Drum roll please ..........

    IT WORKS !

So I ended up buying these 3 items (from the german amazon, but you should be able to find similar items in your regions amazon):

Smart Relay Micro-USB Cable Some Front panel cable extension The setup is really straightforward:
Cut the power cable extension into 2 pieces, so that you have 2 cables with female headers and 2 cables with male headers. Remove the insulation from the ends of the cables, so you can intertwine them Make sure that you intertwine always 1 female header cable with 1 male header cable You could also solder them, but my soldering station has not been delivered yet (thanks for nothing amazon) You should now have 2 pieces of cabling, with each 1 female and 1 male header, and and open end, where the cables have been intertwined/soldered Stick them into the relay like this
The order/polarity does not matter here, only where you put the cables in. Then connect the 2 female headers to the motherboard, where the front panel headers are You could use an extension cable for this step, since the cut cables are very short and cablemanagement could be a problem Connect the 2 male headers to the front panel cables Plug in the micro-USB into the motherboard and then into the relay Follow the guide on connecting the relay to EweLink and then to Alexa or whatever you want to use Make sure that the relay in the "momentary" mode and not on "interlock" or "self-lock" Voila! You should now still be able to use the front panel buttons, while also using some smart dudette to turn on your pc.
You can also use the same procedure for the restart button, just use the second relay this time. This is also why i bought the dual relay version.
Some shrinkwrap might be useful for insulating the cables.

Here are some pics on how i did this in my build:
    Placement on the backside

Poorly visible micro usb and front panel connection

I will also upload some video as proof later on.

So here I was innocently letting windows 10 update itself last night and this morning. Then I started GTA... I was getting 40-50 FPS on a 1070ti at 1440p... low and behold windows had reactivated it’s weird power saving mode, and my overclockEd 2070 was running at 2.15 ghz instead of 4ghz on all cores. Turned it off, and reset Nvidia power setting to performance and I’m back into business.

This is just and FYI should anyone run into a similar situation

Get this, as the heatsink is the best you can get on a GTX 1050 Ti and you can remove the fan shroud to get a passively cooled GPU...

But on the other hand there will be 2x 120 mm directly in front of it, working like normal gpu fans, only more quiet and swapable.
at 11:36 u can see the extra fans which are, in my point of view, useless because so u have 2 fans directly pushing at each other. Arent the pre installed GPU fans expendable?

PS: also at 12:05 he starts talking about the fans he installed

Oh and another problem might be the limited space behind the graphics card. So the heatsinks like on the Arctic S3 also might not fit..who knows?

I am not sure because looking at this picture the backplate seems almost plane with the case back plate mounts

The RX 470 will thermal throttle with a passive cooler, especially in the Node 202 which has bad airflow.... The 1050 Ti might thermal throttle as well, but it will be less noticeable when compared to the RX 470...

@OCXenox Well then, I believe that you can mod a 980Ti Hetsink to fit on a 1050 Ti... If you can't do that, Arctic will work just fine!

It most likely won't fit without modding the heatsink (if it is even possible)
    Your best bet is this:
    https://www.arctic.ac/us_en/accelero-s3.html
And I am not sure if it fits (both on the GPU and in the Node 202)

If you want, you can remove the fan shroud from the card and leave just the heatsink...

BTW, which 1050 Ti are you going to buy?

That is a 970/980/980 Ti, they are massive, the 1050 Ti is much smaller and you can remove the backplate if you don't want it (or if it interferes with the case) as the backplate doesn't affect anything...

Yes... The Gigabyte's backplate can be removed as it doesn't have any other purpose aside from aesthetics, so, you can remove the fan shroud and the backplate and get a great passively cooled GPU

Yes! The G1 Gaming lineup from Gigabyte has one of the the best coolers you can get! And it runs passively before temps reach 50C, so by cooling it with fans that are on the case you will have no issues whatsoever.

Yes! It depends on the RPM that the fans spin at of course, but they might end up being better, as the stock ones are fairly small...

So numerous of us have done it. Myself included.

Don't use tempered glass use float glass (standard stuff from a hardware store cut to length and like 20 dollars).

I just bent and filed off the holding clips leaving the lip in place then used RV black silicon to attach it to the side panel. Looks flawlessly good, and super easy to do. If you click the link in my signature on the 3rd page there is a description and set of images of my process. 100% recommend for any Define S owner.
