a soon as pascal launches your 980ti will be worth around $350 the same thing happened to the 780ti when the 980 launched

my brother runs a 980ti aftermarket cooler on his 980, but if you want to be 100% safe get a waterblock that is made for the gtx 980ti.

if you can spend that much, i would look at m.2 instead of an ssd

that is higher than the normal normal laptop temp, you might want to get a laptop cooler of amazon

what is your budget for your pc and an ssd with that build wont be much faster than a WD blue hard drive

its an ok laptop for a workstation but i would change the ram and the Hard Drive is a little small, but other than that if you don't plan on gaming its alright

everything you have chosen is compatible, one comes with more thermal pads incase you mess up or need to replace them

there is a very small small chance your motherboard will accept 2 980's because it is not sli certified, i would also go with a z170 chipset mobo if your getting a 6600K for better overclocks. i have a asus z170-a with a gtx 970 and an i7 6700k, no problems so far with stable overclock of 4.8

the 980 waterblock will work with your 980ti, the backplate you chose also works with your card.

The MSI model has better LAN, more BIOS features and can hand higher memory clock speeds. but other than that they are almost the same
