i dont know what they are called in english but no they are not timers they basicly lower the amount of V that the plug outputs

im basiclly asking will i be able to adjust (lower) the brightness of my LED Strip by using this;

İ was thinking of MALM it is 155x65 i belive (not sure) it is a bot expensive compared to some other İKEA but looks so hot and i cant use the GALANT because i need to run LED STRİPS behing the desk so it has to have thick legs

Hi, guys today our 'pre-ordered' PS3 finally broke (it still plays games but not without lagging anymore) and my dad went bananas when he died cause of lag on COD MW2 (now..i know but just please ignore the games he play ) and said fuck this im going to buy a PS4 and i just screamed at him ''NOOOOOOOO'' HE SAİD 'WHY THA HELL NOT?' i said ''BECUZ F CONSOLES GİMME THAT MONAY AND İ WİLL BUİLD YOU SOMETİN BETTER AND UPGRADEABLE' he said 'ok' now i have 700-600$ for a build that will make him hate consoles but here is the thing he doesnt want to mess around with windows and shite like that he just wants to game nothing more (with a ps3 controller) so... i was thinking of opening steam big pic. and just never closing the pc again (only sleep mode) so he can have a experience like he is on a better console, but than steam came up with the steam OS Should i wait for SteamOS to be proper OS (i know it is out but i couldnt download it) so i can save money by not getting windowsOS or should i just build him the pc and than get steamOS after or just leave him with steam big pic? and if you guys can help with picking the parts it would be really appreciateted (edit:OS not included, wont be getting a monitor keyboard or a mouse)

Well i dont think it would of gived it much of an improvement on peroformance but it would make it 99xtimes quiter (well i could totally be wrong since what do i know about life?)

if it is about mantle than thats exciting stuff if it is about kaveri than its not worth watching for me (i know it is awsome for some people but im just not intrested)
