  1. Wish I did. I've got a new theory though. I think I found the reason for the issue. Whenever I want to play online games, I tend to go to my resource monitor and shut down anything that may be using up my bandwidth. One of these processes is called svchost.exe (netsvcs) which I always thought was Windows update. As it turns out, having Windows 10 pro, I am able to disable automatic updates and have had it disabled for pretty much forever (I update manually every month or so,) but the process still pops up at random and eats up bandwidth. I normally have to right click - suspend process in order for it to stop downloading, since ending it will only make it start again. Suspend always works, but after pretty much no testing at all, I simply stopped suspending it and playing online, I have not had the issue. Yesterday, I got the problem once, after suspending it to play TF2. Which makes me 99% certain that is the issue. So, fixing it means I have the problem of not being able to play online whenever I wish to
  2. Hello. I have had my pc for over a year now (Built on December 28, 2015) and I recently started having some really weird issues with opening programs. I have made a post on Tom's Hardware and got closer to fixing it, but when I thought it was finally over, the problem came back again out of the blue. The post on Tom's can be seen here: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-3357547/randomly-deciding-open-programs-perform-tasks.html According to the last reply from the guy that helped me, it could be a hardware failure. I think that is possible too, for the issues I will mention later. To sum up the post on the other forum, after a random amount of time (Can't figure out a pattern for when it starts happening,) I am unable to open programs, shut down my computer from the start menu, or browse files unless I already have opened Windows Explorer. Any programs I try to open show up as a background process on Task Manager, but never end up opening. The added issues I have noted are: - Steam often switches its default game install folder back to the SSD, which has very low capacity (Specs should be on my profile.) - Sometimes, not very often, Mozilla Firefox Nightly will stop loading websites and be stuck on loading (Same with opening new tabs.) - Games with automatic server picking (Team Fortress 2) will be unable to connect until I open a matchmaking server picker and reconfigure it, then run the game again. - Trying to click on notifications will not work (The notifications tab in the taskbar) - My screensaver may activate with the issue ongoing, but it won't display anything except for a black screen and my cursor. Once that happens, I have to hit reset on my tower because no keyboard shortcuts will work. I also think it can't really be my CPU's thermal throttling, as I lately have Speccy open all the time, and while the issue happens, the CPU usage just stays normal, and so do the temperatures. I am using the Intel stock cooler and have had issues with thermal throttling, so I am working on getting a new cooler. But I don't think the software issue comes from that. If anyone happens to think it does, let me know. I'm not really very experienced on these topics. And if anyone has any guesses/answers on this, do post them, please. Thank you for reading.
  3. Can someone make a gif out of the clip with this guy moving his face please? https://youtu.be/r3uDsTZTwgM?t=187
  4. Passive pickups lol. Thanks for the help, I will try to find if the repair guy can help me out with checking out the jacks for any imperfections.
  5. Not sure if this fits the "Audio" section.. If it doesn't please move it to the right place or tell me where to post it please I have been playing electric guitar and bass for about two years now. I first started with a 200 dollar pack that brought the guitar, cable, amp and bag, along with a cheap guitar tuner. I plugged everything in and it was all fine and dandy until the cable started breaking from wear and tear, and started making the typical crackling noise when you moved it. I went to the music store and bought a new cable, problem fixed. Around that time I also went to the US and bought myself a bass for 200 dollars. No amp or anything, only the bass. Once I was back home I plugged it to my guitar amp and it worked just fine. 3 months later, I started hearing the crackling noise again. I started troubleshooting by plugging stuff with the old cable, the new one, and a friend's cable as well as his guitar and amp. Switching things around I concluded it had to be the amp that wasn't working well. My friend's amp didn't produce any noise with any of the cables or guitars. So I saved up some money and bought myself a bass amp for 98 dollars. Specs were a little lower than the guitar amp's (Pretty much just lacked a gain button) but it worked okay... ish. I still had the crackling noise if I didn't properly "place" the cable. I had to loop it around the bass/guitar strap and tighten it a lot, and not move it in order to make it not crackle. I then found out my guitar stopped working so I decided to open it up carefully to find if there was any lose connections and I found one of the tone "Things" (Not sure what the proper termination is.. You spin it just like the volume one lol.) was completely shattered inside... looked like oxidation. I took it to a repairman and he fixed it up. Brought it back home, and now it worked, but still with the crackling noise. Same with the bass. I bought a new cable and the noise persists. Everything is pretty much brand new and it keeps making the same noise as it did with completely different equipment. I am starting to wonder if it has to do with my house's power grid which is... very old to say the least. The last thing I have to test is plugging everything at a different house. I have done that at my friend's house before and got the crackling but not with the new cable or the fixed guitar. But that seems to be my last option. If anyone has any knowledge you can share to help at least understand what's going on, please let me know
  6. Razer blade. I would use it for chopping carrots <3
  7. My cousin saw my PC with an RGB keyboard and was like "where can I get one!?" She doesn't even have a PC.
  8. So yeah it would look a bit close to the side panel I'd say. But other than that it should fit
  9. Awesome. That is a low wattage, I am gonna try and see if I can sketch up a partpicker list for that. Should be fun
  10. Do you have a "wattage budget" of sorts? Also what games do you play?
  11. That could look cool. You could also use some sort of tape, like colored. That way you can change the colors whenever Just an idea
  12. Normally that "max" has some extra space to it. What it means is that the max size of a cooler you can fit in is 160mm, but that doesn't make the area 160 mm. It's probably got enough space. What is the case you have and the cooler you want?
  13. If it says it will... it should.
  14. I can't find any shopping results
  15. I have had this http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_s_duos_s7562-4883.php for about 4 years now. It literally cannot handle any application well, not even the Keyboard process. So I also had to renew my contract with my carrier, and when I did I got a free phone, this one http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_j1_ace-7673.php It is not bad in performance, but I have not installed any heavy apps on it because I fear of turning it into another useless piece of silicon. Just as a general reply to what you all have been saying. The plan is to have a new, definite phone this year, and leave the J1 as a backup. I don't want to wait until december to ask "OMG what should I get" because that would mean waiting even a bit longer.
  16. I would have to save for a year if I have to pay over 500 dollars. Just not throwing the idea of paying a pricey phone away
  17. Hello, I bet there is probably more than one (hundred?) post about this, but I basically am not willing to scroll through pages and pages of "I want these specific settings" "There is no such thing." So here I go. I want a phone that I can afford, and that will last me a long while. I honestly don't have a budget, but I wouldn't personally like to spend over ~$500, as around that price point it will probably take me a year or so to save up. Anyways. All I want to do is be able to download apps and run them without worrying about "running short of insert something here", and being able to customize the hardware/software as much as possible. I kinda wanna learn how to program on android (I know iPhones wouldn't fit the last statement at all, so I am counting those out,) and I don't want to be renewing my phone for at least 2-3 years. I would like to see people post as many suggestions as possible, instead of just trying to find the best fit. I don't have much access to information on phones, even through Google. Also, one question for people who have more experience than me: - Is it considerably harmful to repeatedly write and erase memory (AKA installing and uninstalling apps) on a phone?
  18. I feel the price-specs relation has been destroyed with that. 280 extra dollars for an 821 instead of the 820 seems a bit overpriced. I just hope I can get the other version. Just an 820 with 6GB RAM. I am poor
  19. Not to mention the fact that the price is WAY under a normal budget even for Pentium 2's
