  1. so I found a solution for now...I have to go into Task Manager and find the FAHclient and force close it to have my computer go into sleep mode....thanks for the help tho @Misanthrope
  2. i'm pretty sure i turned it off but it still happens
  3. I don't have any of the folding apps open and my computer isn't showing any cpu or gpu usage so i'm pretty sure it isn't folding
  4. *sorry if this is in the wrong section* So I'm trying to put my computer into sleep mode but after a second or two after the screens going black there's a "bong/bingish" sound and then it goes to the lock screen....the only thing I've downloaded recently is the folding@home client.....I put a video of what happens.... idk what to do
  5. im 7th lel but really idk why everyone hates the thumbnails I think they're funny
  6. from what I can tell...there isn't much difference in terms of fps difference in games between the 1080ti and the new Titan Xp...so unless you just want the #baller status i'd go with a 1080ti as there isn't much difference in gaming . And you can get custom coolers on the 1080ti unless you're going to water cool the system.
  7. only one of them will run on 8x...and even then that's plenty of bandwidth for a gfx card...and if you're just gonna game you might as well save about a grand and just get sli 1080ti's....or just one 1080ti. and honestly i'd go with a 7700k as gpu's are way more effective in terms of mining bitcoin etc... just my twocentz
