you can pretty much salvage anything and everything but i wouldnt waste the time since most of your components are way out of date. which in itself isnt bad because they will still work but be extremely slow for most task. structurally your case should be good if it doesnt have any major dents in it but i would look into it a little more detail first because i was just planning on doing the same thing you were doing in just replacing everything but the case a few years ago but the case i had at the time had a top mounted PSU meaning any new component i put in it wouldnt fit or at least i thought. so i got a new cheap case that i kept for a few years and replaced it a few months ago with a new case that should last me the rest of my life.

All 115x mounting holes are the same, 1155/1156/1150/1151
You can check eBay for the cooler master v8 mounting hardware but it might be a hard find, there’s a kit on there I just searched up but it ships from the Netherlands so it’s like 30$ with shipping to the US anyway.

Well my budget is variable but what I have already thought it will have are

CPU: Intel Core i7 4790k

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B85M-DS3H

RAM: 8gb DDR3 Kingston

For the video card I am still not decided but one of my options is Gigabyte Geforce GTX 950 Ti 2GB GDDR5 and the other is Gigabyte GeForce GTX 960 4GB

case: Cooler master 5 Pro

and I need a 650 Watts power supply with a good performance

of course I am gratefull of getting feedback because of mistakes of mine or other viable options
