I don't know much at all about penetration testing, and I only know a bit of Python and Arduino language, but I've enjoyed using Manjaro (Arch) linux on my laptop. It's worked fine for any programs I've wanted to make with Python, though the available programs seem to be slightly less than on a Debian based distro.

Hey all! As my first semester of School is coming to an end, I have realized that I no longer need the Windows-Only utilities which are on my computer, and I can finally move back to linux. I have used Backbox before, but I was also looking at ParrotOS. Note: I will not be accepting Kali Linux as an answer as it is hot doodoo and I am not even touching that even with a 100 foot pole. Anyways, any recommendations?

Holy sheet DO FUCKING NOT use kali as your daily driver. Everything (and i mean everything) is run as root, so you're one sudo rm -rf /* away from destroying your linux filesystem forever. EDIT: If you want to do something with penetration testing, I recommend Backbox linux. It is based off of Ubuntu, keeps you from shooting your machine with a shotgun (figuratively, definitely not literally), and has more tools than Kali to my knowledge. Source? Me, myself, and I. I've used both Kali and Backbox, and I enjoy Backbox a lot more.

Just a few weeks ago, I reinstalled Windows 10 on my lenovo yoga, and Ive had problems ever since then. On Backbox linux, my cpu would never get above 10-15%, but now my cpu is ALWAYS at like 100% when I open up task manager when its running hot. Right after, it drops to abut 70%, but its always some bs windows process. Any recommendations to make it run better?

I use proton vpn when i am legally torrenting files which are not illegal in any fashion at all of course Disabling it is very simple, you can do it in spotify's settings lol -
I just recovered a 5 page essay from a girl's computer after she hadn't saved it. This was not a normal essay, this was an IA Proposal for an IB Bio Class. For those not familiar with IB, this is a paper which takes months to make and she would lose her ability to graduate with an IB diploma. IB is equivalent to the first one or two levels of college courses (depending on which level you take).
Did you know that word thankfully deletes autosave files into the Recycle bin? lmfao

If you use a vpn to download the songs, and then disable network access for Spotify, it shouldn't give you any troubles. I recommend that you use ProtonVPN for a free VPN (same people for ProtonMail) or NordVPN/PIA for a paid VPN. -
