  1. http://videocardz.com/61116/nvidia-geforce-gtx-980-ti-gtx-980-and-gtx-970-receive-a-price-cut E what?
  2. Yes, and since it's not announced, like the GP102... I don't count it as relevant...
  3. Supply... demand... Demand is high, supply is low.... therefore a Seller's Market... they can dictate the price.
  4. I smell a troll... Economics... supply and demand... Trolling smell intensifies... Complaining like Gen Y...
  5. Like the 1080Ti or Pascal Titian? I'll believe it when I see it... To be unfair... they benched against a 1080... even gimping it using alpha drivers to make it look bad also...
  6. Do you own a 1080/1070? 9x0 need not apply...
  7. Absolute BS My... you are cocky for a relatively new member to the boards...
  8. Yeah, it's been shown long ago AMD used alpha press release drivers... and not the publicly available release drivers that don't have the issue... so again... Selective Gimping by AMD?
  9. Wow, that's a low OC 980... o well
  10. I'd rather keep my 980... wow, I saved $200+
  11. A stock 980... I've got a fairly fast one... and I'm not impressed at all...
  12. Guess you are only limited by the internal dimensions and space available for the card...
  13. Vega 11 -> 490/X with GDDR5X Vega 10 -> Fury replacement with HBM2 most likely...
  14. I tried that, but sometimes you run the risk of not being able to find the same model/make of display card for esthetics... From the few examples of SLI benches from 1080's I've seen... it seems on good SLI profiles the gain is 90% average, much better than previous generations. @RadicalAns, I think SLI 1070's might be the way to go if there's a budget involved, but SLI 1080's will definitely scale better and give more future proofing with DX12 mGPU support.
  15. Do it @SnipeYa, it's awesome!!!
  16. Are we still debating if TerrorFlops have any meaning towards gaming performance?
  17. I was about to ask which unicorn farted
  18. Thanks @CableMod 1) Corsair AX1200i 2) ModMesh 3) *PS: Colours are Red, Carbon & Black
  19. And those same games will still run better on a 1070/1080 SLI setup...
  20. The performance scaling on the GTX 10 series seems to be better than the GTX 9 series, average performance increase is around 90%.
  21. There's been some tests with 1080's in SLI, and it seems the average scaling of improvement is around 90%. Bloody awesome.
  22. At the moment, no benefit. It's based on DX11. Another one who thinks DX12 = Async. There's a difference between minimum required functionality and feature sets. mGPU and Async are optional features and not a requirement for DX12.
