  1. http://pcpartpicker.com/list/RHbn7h This is where all the stuff I'd like to upgrade to is coming from. This was only used to compile everything in one list. Also, the solution i currently have is Astro A40s.

    Is It Possible?

Is it possible to go from 1/4" to 4Pin XLR?
  3. Sennheiser is great, I haven't experienced Audio Technica's products. Spec-wise, choose something with an increased lowend frequency, between 5-10 Hz. Take a look an Shure's SRH750DJ headphones, I use these to mix vocals and they sound great.
  4. Sennheiser Momentum In Ears seem good.
  5. I do have another pair of headphones, Shure SRH750DJs, and they outweigh Astros. I just find it convenient to have "audiophile" headphones with a builtin mic instead of audiophile headphones with a separate USB/XLR mic.
  6. I have Astros, and they are great. Lightweight, comfortable, great sound, and arguably the best audio interface with their MixAmp Pro.
  7. Can you? Yes. Should you, hell no. If you have two completely different vocalists, whatever happens to one mic, happens to the other. So, you could be adding too much gain on the opposite speaker, decreasing the low-end on the other that doesn't need it, ect. And to address your confidence with XLR, it's actually really simple. Pretty much, it is a balanced signal, unlike TRS. It's just overall better and more commonly used, my school has a lot of wireless XLR mics and laviliers.
  8. I need help knowing how to EQ with a purpose. If there are any designers or engineers out there, can you explain to me 4 band EQ and how to mix? Thanks. EDIT: The board I will be mixing on is an Allen + Heath ZED 436

    Slim Linus

It was in the uncensored version of the video. It was pretty funny.

    Slim Linus

The audio/vocals was from Linus's Streets by 50 video. Someone on SoundCloud remixed the song into Linus's unofficial mixtape.

I think you all will like this. It's a bit old, but it's a great song :).
  12. People who don't speak loud enough into a mic. They don't give me a signal to mix.
  13. Alesis MultiMix 4 is around 99 dollars, I think I saw it was at 80 on sale once. http://www.amazon.com/Alesis-Multimix-4-Channel-Effects-Interface/dp/B00IPF9DX2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1454808517&sr=8-1&keywords=alesis+multimix+4
  14. People who walk up to me asking, "Do you know what all those knobs do?", "Will you play me a song?", or my favourite one "Can I touch a knob?".
