    Chips can be optimized for performance, another can be optimized for power use. the only real importance is if you’re putting together a battery powered device. Otherwise it’s up to the limitations of your psu

    Alright, I most likely can, just need to sit down and spend some time with it when I get home. I do want it to atleast stay at 3.9 That's just aida64 temp after a long period of time which is highly unrealistic. I haven't seen it reach anywhere near there in normal use. I do live in a colder climate too.. basically bordering Canada. If I do see it reach 80s in the summer then I'll invest in a good cooler, if I buy one I don't wanna get a crappy one.

    Just got a 1600 a week ago been playing around with overclocking since it’s my first time not having a locked processor. I got it stable at 1.35v 3.9ghz with 81c max after a few hours in aida64 using the stock cooler. Should I try to push it even further? I don’t want to destroy the chip, but I also don’t want to completely baby it. What would be the max voltage to try while allowing the chip to last atleast 5 years before I end up upgrading it

    ... well that’s cool I guess.. I use LastPass but I would think that stuff would be secured.. guess not. Is the “remember me” check boxes also unsafe or are those more secure? Cause I do use those sometimes if it’s something I use hourly

    I mean it depends on your budget. Though gpu prices are starting to get fucked too. Ive mostly seen that gpu paired with a 1060

    Full virus/malware scan. Remove clutter and fix up your startup programs. Make sure you don’t have 100s of currently running programs. Make sure drivers are up to date.

    Corsair has a refurbished section on their website. Maybe I got lucky with mine, but my k70 I picked up for like $70 is still working perfectly and came looking and feeling brand new. I know people don’t like that route but it’s a good budget route imo

    I personally didn’t care for 1440p. If I were to make a resolution jump it would be 4K. I recently just went with 1080p144hz instead of 1440p
