  1. I own a laptop with the i3 8130u and its a really good cpu for being an i3, the thing hadles mobas and photo editing with a lot of chrome tabs opened on the background. I would recommend you to use the i3 since browsers benefit more of higher core clocks. And I dont know if the pentium can get you by with the screen recording while doing other sutff
  2. That is how its running right now, im glad to see that someone shares my point of view. thanks!
  3. How is that mesh material covering the holes called? where can I get something like that?. You are right, once I get my hands on the stuff to do it I will. thank you!
  4. I thought that the back exhaust being that close to the top intake would be weird but I will try it to see what happends. Thank you!
  5. I have a phanteks p300, I want to see if I can improve the airflow/temps on my case without buying stuff ( I know it would improve if I change all the fans for noctuas and get 140s instead of the 120mm fans that I have). I have a corsair h60 for the processor with the radiator mounted on the front as an intake with two fans as a push pull, below the radiator I have another 120mm fan as an intake blowing air directly to my gpu(rx 580) and finally I have the top and left 120mm fans as exhausts. The intakes of the case are the issue I think they are too small or restricted, when I run it without the front cover I get considerably lower temps but im tired of using the case like that. This is a picture of the case just to save you time of looking it up, I appreciate the help!
  6. Are you using integrated graphics? edit: if you are, could you get some cheap gpu to try if that works? also what processor are you using. Have you tried flashing the bios?
  7. it shows 100% on the performance tab all the time, and 50% on the processes tab
  8. I have the same issue on my laptop but with the hard drive usage even after rebooting and the laptop is running a recent clean install of windows. Lets see if someone has a fix for this
  9. yes it is worth it. You can actually see the difference in both
  10. I was playing black desert on the lowest preset it runs fine but funny enough, while playing it only reached 800mhz for about two hours but on the last 10 minutes before I logged out it reached 1050mhz , maybe it was the game settings being too low
  11. The igpu on my laptop its supposed to boost up to 1.05ghz but its only getting up to 800mhz. With a max temp of 74c. this is the processor and the igpu https://ark.intel.com/content/www/es/es/ark/products/88194/intel-core-i7-6500u-processor-4m-cache-up-to-3-10-ghz.html
  12. I didnt remember that the adapter was active and yes the adapter was plugged in. Thanks problem solved
  13. I have an rx 580 running a multi display setup. I disconnected/unplugged an old vga display that I had working with a DVI adapter on the DVI slot of the gpu. but the gpu or windows works as if it was connected. the display number 3 on the pic ture is not connected to the pc. How can I fix this? number 2 is my main display on a hdmi port, number 4 and 1 are running on displayport. Number 3 WAS on the DVI slot but now its disconnected
  14. I fixed it using os-prober and update-grub. it now appears listed and everything works fine
