    I mean it's the same with decent USB C docks.

     

    By decent I mean: Power, USB, Ethernet, Display, additional type C, audio, simultaneously without causing all kinds of issues

    Who knows. I just know that we've used the cheaper USB C docks before, and they're absolute shite. Then used the more expensive, HP docks and they're fucking brilliant.

    you get what you paid for. last time one cheap USB dongle burned one of the USB c ports on my mac
