  1. The lighting looks really good and works great for the second & third images. The tubing looks damn fine with the lights pretty much making it glow a transluscent white. I also quite like the raw power distribution blocks for some fans and LEDs tucked behind the drive cages.
  2. atm Ive got an EVGA GTX 480 running at 775mhz (so the same as a 580) which I picked up used for $100
  3. The Livestream spotlight killed your photobucket bandwidth. You should reupload them to another host or upgrade your account.
  4. Just do one wire at a time. Theres a very comprehensive guide on OCN about different aspects about sleeving cables.
  5. Qube Antichamber Magicka Sleeping dogs waiting to see when Magrunner: Dark Pulse goes on sale ... that game looks EPIC
  6. Yeah I have to agree the M5A97 evo is pretty much the best 970 chipset board for overclocking
  7. Get either the new gigabyte U3H or an msi gaming GD65 for haswell. Pretty much as much as you need and good value for money.
  8. AM3 cpu's work in AM3+ boards. That board will work for a dual core but I would stay very far away from it if you wanted to use something more modern. Its a decent everyday computer motherboard.
  9. you're asking an extremely one-sided question that you already know the answer to
  10. CM Storm Spawn (or Xornet) are the best Claw Grip mice. They also work well as a palm grip if you have small girly hands like Linus.
  11. Battlefield 3 followed closely by WoW
  12. Its too bad the game's concept and story revolves around such bad political propaganda and brainwashing towards the weak minded console players. The visuals look good but I dont care enough to buy into marketing. They would bring it to PC anyway even if people didn't sign the petition. They already instantly dump out crap DLCs to PC ports asap so something that PC gamers would ACTUALLY want is a no-brainer that they'll add because its guaranteed revenue. Remember that this next (now current) gen is x86 based so they have no bullshit reason not to be able to do so. (cough sony cough)
  13. Ducky Shine is the king of all LED backlighting for mechanical keyboards. Keep your eye out for the new Roccat Ryos though. It's supposed to be basically the ISKU on crack + mechanical keys ... looks promising. It's probably going to suit your style more since its a gaming keyboard. The G710+ (logitech) is great but doesn't have customizable backlighting which is exactly what you're looking for.
  14. my G710+ is quieter than any of the rubber dome keyboards I have. Not all keyboards are what you expect. I've had some OEM HP/Dell keyboards that are louder than typewritters with their sloppy bottom barrel keys. You have tto bottom out every single keystroke on a rubber dome keyboard in order to get it to press. Bottoming out keys is the loudest thing you can do on a keyboard.
  15. I would call 2 titans on a single pcb frivilous
  16. Overclock your CPU-NB (memory controller) to get a nice performance boost with Phenom II's. Try to get 2600+. Its not always about cpu clock speeds with PII's. The IMC was rather under-par from the factory and pretty common oc for people.
  17. The formula-z has completely redesigned vrm and runs 8+2+2 with a phase directly powering your system memory. There are also a lot of other things that were completely changed under the hood of the z model.
  18. It wont SLI because its a completely different card in every aspect except for the fact that the "core" is the same die. Its like trying to pair an i7 with a Xeon for a dual CPU system.
  19. Make sure you set the voltage & timings properly for the RAM in your bios. Try only setting the ram to 2133 first without the CPU overclocked. Also remember that technically the 8350 doesn't "support" 2133 but it can probably do it if you work with your chip and get to know it enough. If it cant possibly even run it at 2133 - don't get discouraged. You can still run the ram at a slightly lower speed (1866 or 1600) but with a lot tighter timings (like CAS 8 or 7). You'll have to do some work in order to get it working just right with your system.
  20. Sandy bridge may technically be "faster" in Mhz but remember; speed is not always equal to being more performance. If that was the case then we would all be running Pentium 4's or AMD APU's at 5Ghz. With decent cooling (H100) you can overclock the newer generations of processors (Ivy/Haswell) just as high as sandy (See TTL haswell review on cinebench comparisons on performance). Motherboards have also advanced a looooooooot in the time since your P67 was the 'go to' board for i5's. I'd totally go for it if I were you.
  21. The 1100T is no slouch. Once clocked to 4 Ghz it starts becoming an animal and farther than that it just devours everything you throw at it. Remember that Phenom II's have a lot more IPC than FX processors its just that the newer ones are clocked higher to make up for it. Personally I would just stick with your current proc and grab a new beefy graphics card instead (but that's just me).
  22. Haswell has more IPC and preforms better than Ivy even when down 200mhz (Cinebench). Its really a no brainer if you're looking to build a new high-end system. TTL at OC3D did a comparison in Cinebench between the two so you can go check it out for yourself.
