  1. so I came across "GAMER" glasses frames on clearly. https://www.clearly.ca/glasses/clearly-gamer/clearly-gamer-arcade-54?v=shiny-black What are "a gamers needs" in a glasses?
  2. 6700k, was OC'd to 4.5ghz all cores for years (Now back to stock speeds) 16GB Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000mhz (running at 2133 for troubleshooting) (Edit, Just swapped out for 32GB LPX DDR4 3200mhz) Asus Z170X-UD3-CF EVGA GTX 1080 Superclocked ID-Cooling FrostFlow 240L CPU cooler. Ok, specs out of the way - For the last few weeks - My gaming experience has been HORRIBLE. Whenever I move the mouse in most 3D applications, The graphics completely stall. 1fps or worse. Faster I move, the longer the freeze. I play minecraft with my daughter in windowed mode, and if I move the mouse the FPS goes down to 1 or 2 (more if I do even, quick but smooth circles with my cursor) but a 4K Youtube video on my other monitor remains buttery smooth. I had a Steel Series Rival 100 Mouse - And when I plugged in a generic HP mouse it was totally fine. I threw out the mouse, and bought another one. (Razer Viper) The problems remain. I've uninstalled Ghub, Corsairs i-cue, and razors own mouse software that autoinstalls. I've done system restores, Deleted all the HID devices and their drivers and re-installed. Bios, Video Bios and drivers. it's so insanely bad. I took a video of the issue as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YhWOWE9HGuk as you can see OBS has no problem recording 4K60fps screen captures. I've never seen anything like this before. I'm at wits end. Ready to sell it all and get a 3800x, and maybe a RTX3080. :-D
  3. I don't know but someone posted about this just a minute ago in the Liquid Cooling section... so maybe you shouldn't double post the same topic in multiple spots and wait more than 60 seconds for an answer before spamming the same post.
  4. But I can't get a OnePlus from a service provider... So I won't get a OnePlus again.
  5. My wife had an S5... it had issues. We went to Telus, they gave her a loanert S5 while her S5 was repaired (aka replaced) 3 weeks later, she was back with her old "new" phone. It was a great experience. It required me to do nothing.
  6. I had a one plus one... and then got a one plus three, thinking they would have fixed things. Regular reformats, random battery drains within an hour, overheating warnings, unavailable accessories (and $65 CAD for a Dash charger/cable... JEBUS!) Non existent support. "Mail us your phone, it'll be wiped, it'll take 4-6 weeks, and you're also out of a phone while this happens" and a lack of any sort of after market options... I'm not a hipster - My next phone will be so mainstream millennial city lumberjacks will scoff at me from miles away.
  7. Maybe a Q6600, but not a Skylake 6600. That thing is still pretty well top tier.
  8. How the heck does this thing throw so wide? its insane.
  9. So Um.... regarding Amazon - Should I remove my bookmark? or will keeping it there entitle you to some backpay, etc? or would a revolt against amazon help at all? Tell us what to do!
  10. I'd love the Kiro... as My work mouse currently has pads that are peeling off on the bottom. This one looks great and semi-professional for both gaming and office environment. :-D
  11. I've got a Eurocom X3 with a very respectable 8970M in it - However the onboard GPU in the CPU (i7 4700M) is FUBAR and gives me mad artifacts on desktop applications. (3D is fine) I'm looking for a Socket G3 i5 or i7 (4th gen) Mobile CPU - I can't seem to find it anywhere. I got one of E-bay, just to have it be DOA, Seller skipped town - Ebay/paypal gave me my money back. Anyone know if a place in canada (or a place where I wont get SCREWED on the exchange/duties) where I can find 4th gen CPU for less than 400 dollars? (ideally $200 or less)
  12. I have - I even tried the ones windows installed automatically with the reformat, which were about 7 months old. Unfortunately battlefront won't even launch unless you have the game-ready drivers installed for it. However, that one (november...twenty-something release) doesn't work, and even with the drivers that just came out yesterday - same issue. Video memory or System? I've got 8GB, But still generally have 2GB free at all times. The issue only happens on graphically intense games. Cities skylines and KSP are unaffected. I figured that the card was drawing power from the motherboard and the 8 pin, and the motherboard couldn't deliver. (or does it just pass through via 24pin? or is there some sort of middle man on the motherboard? (regulators, chokes etc)
  13. Alright guys. To date: Replaced GPU (RMA). Replaced PSU (EVGA B2 750, up from my BeQuiet! 550W L8). Alternated Ram Sticks. Memtest for 12+ hours X264 Stress Test for 8+ hours LinPack for 45 minutes (was pegging thermal limit of 72*c, aborted, but no errors) Complete reformat, Fresh install of win10 Pro including game installs (GTAV, Battlefront, BF4, Cities Skylines, KSP, Blizzard games) from scratch. (ouch... my bandwidth) Issue still #^!%'ing occurs. When your GPU has a dedicated power input - does it still draw from the Motherboard? I'm thinking now that the only cause could be CPU/Motherboard. Can I get confirmation? OR, did I get a dud card sent out to me, with the exact same issue? what are the odds of that? Thanks in advance.
  14. Time for a new Monster build. Gigabyte Z170X, Quad SLI... In the smallest case possible. All liquid cooled. Call it the Quad. 4 Sticks ram. 4 SSD's in raid 0, 4... fans? Radiators? Because... screw budgets.
