  1. Based on the "40 hours of straight gaming" they mentioned, sleep is optional but I assume you'll be able to leave and return, doors may be closed for some set time overnight though if they don't have 24hr security.
  2. Richmond has a high Asian population so some authentic Asian cuisine can be had. I particularly like Xiaolongbao, which is essentially a special pork dumpling with soup in the dumpling and you dip it in some tasty ginger vinegar. My preferred place is Dinesty Dumpling house ( 8111 Ackroyd Rd #160, Richmond, BC) they have a nice sit down interior and menus and servers have decent English. If you're into beer it might be worth your while to make your way into Vancouver and check out a gastropub or tasting room also there is Craft Beer Market which is good eats and 100 beer taps. There are two Stormcrow locations (the tavern and the alehouse) which are bars catering to nerds with decent grub, they have board games and tons of fun themed drinks. But yeah, the thing with Richmond itself is that there isn't much in the way of nice "Canadian" restaurants but mostly ethnic places and big chains (Cactus Club).
  3. Is this a picture of your board? If so the short answer is maybe. It seems that PCI to PCIe adapters do work for mining per this comment: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=217721.msg2288652#msg2288652 . As for the motherboard being able to handle running 4 cards, it should be fine for mining just try to buy some powered risers to take some of the power load off the mobo, not to mention that risers are highly recommended for air cooling improvements.
  4. Ah, my bad. I don't go that way often and when I have gone during weekends it wasn't too bad.
  5. Just a heads up from a Valley native: the Patullo is your best bet if you want to avoid tolls (If you haven't registered your car it is more expensive and billing could be annoying) and it shouldn't be too bad on a Saturday.
  6. It is mostly a peace of mind thing, barbs work fine but you have to make sure youo get the clamps tightened well so there is no slow leak and I would be extra cautious when transporting a barb based rig.
  7. My bro and I are moving in together soon, it would be awesome for playing co-op in the living room and not needing to buy a tv.
  8. Jason from corsair discusses the technology behind the Strafe and Scimitar and gives us a release window for the long awaited SDK. The SDK will release for Corsair's large RGB lineup from clicky to silent keyboards and many mice.
  9. Well it's really cool to have the free year and early access to content and I'm sure it's a great escape route, what with all the Google ad crap going on, but it'll take some getting used to following two video feeds. Change is tough but hopefully this'll be for the better, Cheers. Vessel Name: frosty-kyogre Fav Vids: https://www.vessel.com/videos/JYZEYDYx0 https://www.vessel.com/videos/LCoY5zfFf
  10. I'd be willing to do a platform upgrade if I win, I'd need mobo and ram but it'd be worth it. X99.... *drools*
  11. Linus, and the Crew, I have been watching since the 6990 video in March 2007, and was so captivated that I watched lots of the older videos soon after. Since then I have watched you guys grow as a team, go independent and continue to have fun and be yourselves. It has been a wild ride, and while the members of the LTT family have grown, and the studio has changed (over 5 times!), the charm that hooked me, keeps me coming back for more. My friends and I watched the "livestream" and the WAN show since its inception and get together to watch when we can, I personally have watched every one, many through the archive. I remember when slick was hired and he was an enigma, hidden from the audience lest they revolt and demand "Linus unt Linus only!" and in the comments everyone would post the timestamps when the crew was visible, mostly in reflections. Since then the audience has come to know and admire the crew and many a Friday night has been spent by me hanging out on Slicks stream sometimes until the next day. I try to support where I can and perhaps shown my appreciation with a certain door mat Christmas present, if you know what I mean. Keep up the good work and thanks for all the enjoyment you've given me over the last 3 years, your perseverance and steadfast adherence to your principals is truly inspiring. Congratulations on one million subscribers and here's to a million more. Cheers, frosty-kyogre P.S. I had a bunch of fun meeting Slick and chatting for like 5 minutes at PAX this year, and can say with certainty that you guys are just as cool off camera as on.
  12. Yeah the popping would be toned down by a pop filter, but what we really need is another good dynamic mic, our other mic is a $100 one and properly dynamically adjusts to prevent popping, The one I'm using is okay but it is only a $10 mic (Our other host is into music and audio and he assures me this is the case). As for awkward, I really should have just reshot the outro, but didn't... Thanks for your feedback.
  13. Today at PAX Prime Corsair announced at their booth a RGB version of the K65 to match their already anticipated K70 and K95. While the announcement will surely be exciting for some fans it isn't exaclty something unexpected, The keyboards are promised to drop soon so the wait will finally be over. P.S. I'm the host so any feedback will be gladly accepted!
  14. I like the minimal changes to android but better ID than Google sanctioned phones. Overall it is well designed with a snappy android experience to boot. I like the quality standard dbrand has for their custom work it appears to be as good as mass produced skins.
  15. I like the smudge friendly coatings on the lid and wrist rest as well as the beautiful IPS display.
