  1. Stop at a Tim Horton's at least once. Go to West Edmonton Mall since you'll be in the area anyway. You gotta have a poutine.
  2. We can't accept you until you commit your gaming life in servitude and perpetual praise of our worshipness Lord Gaben.
  3. I also accept Han dying (though that didn't take the shock away when I saw it on screen). I also think him calling out Kylo by his real name - one shout of his name - had a lot of emotion in it. That was the best part of that whole confrontation for me. Then when he came face to face with him up close... that's when I knew... yep... he's dead. Han's character arc was pretty much done in the original trilogy: from a lowlife smuggler to rebel hero. He was done. Nothing more to tell. Luke and Leia still had stories to tell by the time Return of the Jedi ended: Luke resurrecting the Jedi order and Leia turning into a great political leader. As for Rey... I still think he's Luke's daughter. There's just too much red herring / hints on screen to not be a direct Skywalker descendant. They took elements of Darth Caedus (Jacen Solo... Han & Leia's kid in the extended universe novels (yes I know it's not canon anymore) and turned him into Kylo Ren. His sister Jaina redeemed him but on screen I think they turned her into Rey. So cousins, instead of twins. But it can't be that obvious, can it? This is Abrams after all.
  4. "Some men just want to watch the world burn..." - Alfred Pennyworth
  5. When I was young, I'd just tell my parents flat out and they'd do their best to get me whatever I asked for. As I got older, I realized, the older you get the less presents you get (but the more I gave)... the less you get what you want for Christmas. So my solution: just buy it for yourself as a gift from "Santa" or whomever you believe in.
  6. Finally! It shouldn't have been Xbone (timed) exclusive in the first place. I remember Square Enix whining that the first one didn't sell well at first (3.4M first month, 8.5M overall: source)... and then they go ahead and limit its release to ONE platform.
  7. If it's anything like the Extended Universe novels (which I know is not canon anymore... but I mean if JJ took some elements from it), I'll be happy. It can't get any worse than the prequels... right... RIGHT??? *prays to Yoda it doesn't suck*
  8. I am shocked at the lack of SLI support. SHOCKED! PC development was going so well too...
  9. I would second this suggestion. Love TF2 and its characters and the synergy between them. Dirty Bomb as well. We play those two quite a bit at LAN parties. I would also suggest WoW (which I'm currently sinking my teeth into again). It's free up to level 20 for a starter edition. Beyond that... it'll take a bit of time to accumulate the gold to buy the monthly in-game token if you don't want to pay for a subscription
  10. I found Spectre to be bland and straightforward compared to the other Craig Bond films. No shocking moments like in Casino Royale or Skyfall... or the way Quantum was a direct sequel to CR. Christoph Waltz makes for an awesome villain though.
