Been pretty ill this past week, and had to go to the emergency department tonight... around 5 hours in all after the ambulance took me there. And it's official

I really am what people have said time and time again... I am full of shit ?

 

Blockage/impacted bowel is the actual term, but thought it was funny too.

    Thanks, yeah it's been painful to say the least, have had a bloated/distended stomach now for around a week. It's tough going because I also have to balance trying to get rid of this situation with still taking my pain meds for my Fibromyalgia and IBS. So it's like they're combating each other as the pain meds and IBS meds slow my digestion down and firm things up, and I obviously now need to try and get things moving. If I can't it mean I'll have to go back to hospital again and maybe have to have it taken out by force. There's a chance something may rupture too, so hoping it moves. The reason it's been a week is the doctor didn't know what was causing the pain, as at the time I first saw him I hadn't had any problems in that area.

    I return to the forums after about a year and I see paddy getting full of "shit" and ill. 

     

    What has this world turned to??
