hummbug95 got a reaction from NumLock21 in Hard drive won't fit(?)
I've figured out why I can't insert the drive into the sled. For some reason Seagate has only 2 holes on each side of the hard drive. This makes it impossible to use the sled unless I drill two additional holes in the HDD (which I won't do)

I don't get how anyone lends Linus stuff anymore. Imagine getting back your laptop full of velcro and glue
Although ghetto-mounting two screens to a razer blade is fun and all, I would've loved to see it done properly (DIY 3D printing or something)

If you can use it as a NAS or something that doesn't need much load

Oh! I agree with your last post
He could probably get a few dollars for the screen though

hummbug95 got a reaction from .spider. in Looking for a production monitor for video editing and color grading
Something like this?
https://www.amazon.com/ColorEdge-CS2420-Calibration-1920x1200-CS2420-BK/dp/B01BMD8R2G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1486152363&sr=8-1&keywords=Eizo+CS2420
16:10 ratio, 10 bit panel, 1200p and not "to expensive" 860 usd on amazon
As far as I have heard, Eizo is a reputable company

I didn't know about the LMD2110W, sounds like a good monitor for the price, but the inputs on it are not up to date and it's only 10-bit signal processing. The screen is not a 10-bit panel. I would rather have 3G-SDI minimum. You will very likely not be wrong if you chose a SmallHD Production Monitor. Or just get the ViewZ monitor I mentioned. It's only $1900, pretty cheap compared to other monitors out there.

If you want Sony this is the one I would recommend but it's OLED.

A production monitor (they are also referred to as broadcast reference monitors) is different from a desktop computer monitor in that:
They come with various input types for video signals (SDI, HDMI, composite) Displays timecode, vector scopes, histograms, waveforms, parades, audio levels, and other information regarding the video signal being sent to the monitor Supports various frame rate standards Can display safe area cages, focus peaking, false color, etc. as specified Some models can be powered by an external battery unit making them portable Conforms to various color standards The two images posted by the OP above in one of his comments shows some examples of a production monitor.

I've had trouble with a lot of programs after the 8.1 update on my laptop.
Uninstall -> CCleaner -> Reinstall. Easiest and safest fix.
