  1. I have a suggestion for Linus, "himself" and maybe others that he works with at LTT. How about a channel that helps it's viewers to comprehend the world of IT business and podcasting from Linus's point of view? Revealing the "behind the scenes", mindset and decision making that companies go through that LTT viewers are unaware of. Another idea i had that LTT should do, is a charity run to support groups that protect the health of the internet. The foundation that rests on the shoulders of all of our interests is is that of the internet at large, which is in dire need of your attention! Maybe for every view count that Linus Tech Tips receives on YouTube, a dollar is given to an organization for 1 year. I think your viewership would get onboard with this idea as a way that they could easily contribute, without needing their parents credit card to shape the future internet. Example of organizations: openmedia.org https://www.eff.org/ FireFox, Wikipedia, etc.
  2. What list of software does this affect anyways, I wonder if Windows did get re-programmed so all worked well that the over all system would be faster. PC games would run faster or smoother. I am not sure what programs this problem is holding back. It would be interesting to see results Microsoft ever does fix it. I see something get fix in a program and other things not truly related all the sudden also work better. I think of game patches, and firmware updates.
  3. Should I delete the post? I did not see the link to the video on the site is what I meant. Also I was not sure where to post this but I thought maybe here in this section.
  4. I did not find it. And did I out this post in the wrong section, even though it was already uploaded?
  5. 2990WX Threadripper Performance Regression FIXED on Windows* Level1Tech Video. The link I have provided demonstrates how a long line up of AMD products is being held back by Windows software and why that is. AMD is at a disadvantage to competitors in the industry I believe until this is sorted out, hopefully content like this video develop a movement to put pressure on Windows to clean up some coding for even more competition in the industry, Anyways, check out the video and tell me what you think. Maybe Intel is paying off Windows in some form so they can hold AMD back and crush competition. Interesting anyways.
  6. @Lemtea Thank you for the link. Put me in the right direction.
  7. I am glad that I am not the only one having this issue. Default (No team specified) Credit 205,277,184,450 WUs 175,931,219 Team 0 Am I suppose to join the LinusTechTips team which is a choice?
  8. SiFive does a modem? What can you do with an open source modem? hmm 64bit Modem, The E5 Series offers 64-bit RISC-V performance in 32-bit power and area. Not sure if modems need 64bit or that they already are 64bit hardware. I am kind of sure we are going in that direction. https://www.sifive.com/products/risc-v-core-ip/e5/
  9. I do not think Google is only focusing on the U.S. I believe they have other projects going on around the world linking people together. Not sure if it is the same as the U.S. though. It be nice if Google keeps putting pressure on the ISP companies and causes a price war.
