  1. I disagree, My mother stopped smoking about 8 months ago, her car reeked of cigarettes, she got it normally cleaned at a car wash and it smells like a new car again. Seeing as fabric retains smells better than plastic and other such materials, i think it is a good bet to at least try.
  2. Personally I would say, it depends on the type of games that you play. If you play CPU intensive games, CPU, if you play GPU intensive games, GPU. if it's a mixture, likely it's best to get a new GPU.
  3. Did you even look at what a Sempron 140 is? This is one compared to a Celeron
  4. Download and run these as well https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/ https://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/eek/ https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/hitmanpro/
  5. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/GwG3JV I put a more basic mouse/keyboard mobo, but for now just go and buy the cheapest combo you can find at walmart. Specs always supersede peripherals. The RX 470 I put on there is honestly dependent on if you're going to wait until the new mining craze is over. if not, Just go ahead and get a 1050ti.
  6. Does he happen to pirate games? Or download software from shady websites? It could possibly be a minerbot type ordeal, or a RAT, try disabling the internet connection to it, see if that does anything. alternatively look in your startup processes, disable them all and see if that solves it or not,
  7. Get rid of that keyboard, and invest that into a better gpu. Those types of really cheap mechanical keyboards don't last long at all.
  8. I think it was around 2008 or so, Intel gave manufacturers discounts or something of the like if they didn't use AMD cpus. Otherwise, they could just be bleeding off their stock of Intel CPUs, or quite possibly they could be waiting for R3 cpus to be out, for the lower end.
  9. My personal suggestion is to look around at 2015-2016 gaming laptops on Ebay, just for price's sake. Otherwise, that seems like a fairly solid laptop for the price.
  10. You can easily install windows from a bootable USB, otherwise you can get something similar to this https://www.amazon.com/StarTech-SATA-Drive-Adapter-Cable/dp/B00HJZJI84/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1498245262&sr=8-1&keywords=usb+hdd+connector But I don't know if it would work without windows installed.
  11. Personally I would recommend a Google Pixel, if you buy it from the Google Store, otherwise, OnePlus 3T imo
  12. I forgot to mention, I believe the 7700k has a IGPU, fairly certain of it, if you can get a mobo with display connections, you can connect the display to your IGPU to avoid the clock ramping up.
  13. The only issue I have ever had with multiple displays, is that when I connect a third my gpu shoots up to 700mhz or so, and stays there no matter what. In general I've only ever noticed a frame rate loss of around 1-2fps, within a margin of error.
