If people used the nipple mouse from thinkpads we could completely get rid of trackpads, and then get rid of the empty space and make the screen shorter (wider) to match

Oh god what have I done lol

On second thought that seems like a bad idea

I tried a top-of-the-line laptop from... Asus (Asus makes the ROG, right?) and its lacking of the TrackPoint essentially killed off whatever use it was meant for (gaming and work). That and the non-touch panel.

omg, yes, there it is.  Exactly what I imagined lol  Can't believe someone actually made it xD

The issue is to be practical it would have to be quite large, like probably 20"+ to give you the necessary height, and at that point the width would be so much it would be like carrying around a skateboard

The nipple was arguably more efficient once you get used to it (faster, more accurate, no accidental input, etc).

    Spoiler

The nipple also had the side effect in making you more proficient with other... nipple shaped objects.

Well, that conversation went down the gutter fast xD

Now for the news at 9 - AMD CPUs made in the last 6 years have a backdoor vulnerability that allows hackers (with root/admin access) to completely control your computer - without you even knowing it! It's above the reproach of the OS and the user. Infected PCs only have one form of recourse - trash the CPU with the infected firmware, wipe and re-flash the motherboard BIOS, and wipe all drives (start over like Windows is easy to setup from scratch).

I would not mind this. @TopHatProductions115 I wonder what the source is... Some company wanting to take down AMD's stock, perhaps?
