Apple App Store appears to be widely removing "outdated" apps
n2a newt replied to darknessblade's topic in Tech News
It seems like all this will do is filter out apps that no longer have any form of developer support (or at least the ones that don't check their email lol). If the requirements are only push out an update of any size then there are countless ways to insert trivial changes in the backend of the app, or let alone just push another app version number in the UI. -
I'm curious if AMD will do anything with lower tier SKU's or do anything at 60CUs with different memory configurations like the 2060 cards. I think the R7 could make a bigger splash on the market if it had cheaper options with GDDR6 or GDDR5 or just less HBM2.

Meanwhile.. https://www.pcgamer.com/igda-urges-studios-to-clarify-guidelines-for-social-media-conduct-after-arenanet-sackings/ It's been 10 years or more since Facebook and other social media has taken off, and you're telling me that these policies for game developers hasn't been spelled out yet...

Probably using Leap Motion's tech or something similar.

TL;DW - Mark Laidlaw, the lead writer for the Half Life series and who left Valve last year, recently posted a letter titled "Epistle 3" (Episode 3) to "playa" (players) which contain names and content extremely similar to those in the half-life series. The full context for why this is happened is still under investigation. Someone by the name of Jackathan already took the letter and translated the names to half life (link below). If this is what we all think it might be then my god, I honestly don't know how to react. Let me know what you guys think. I've had this on my YouTube homepage for what feels like a year.

Looks pretty promising. I'd love to see more of these small customization options in the future from fractal. Would be awesome to have holes on top for snap on-snap off handles for carrying the case.

The only thing preventing them from making an upgrade kit is holes needed for the rubber side panel mounts. I don't think they ship those kits expecting users to be able to drill the right holes in the right places. Edit: Though they could do it by sending a new shroud and attachments for the upper two mounting points. Very unlikely though.

I don't know how this was possible, but I ordered the mini define c case on Wednesday from Newegg with standard 4-7 day shipping and somehow it showed up today.

It looks like machine code turned into ascii or unicode characters.

I guess all it takes is 500 engineering hours over 10 years to successfully monopolize a market.

Might help.
