  1. wait....this is a thing? this isn't just an old original Hero 1 model?
  2. was lurking, followed the link, and just had to say thank you for sharing. I'm fascinated by WWII (from a historical standpoint) and this is a good read so far TY!
  3. man if only gopro would sell a value-oriented model that did nothing but take standard 720p (maybe 1080p?) 30fps video, they would sell like hotcakes
  4. wasted my whole july 4th extended weekend because of how god damn hot Texas summer heat is. could only finish about 50% of what I planned at least got my front end mods done, mostly happy with how it turned out

    FTZ01 AVALIBLE

thank god silverstone still pushes this formfactor why people think CUBE SHAPED cases are better fit for HTPC's where it's probably going on an entertainment SHELF is beyond me.......I'm loving my ML07
  6. plot twist, the life sized "model" gundam is actually real and built for this inevitable day! (I wish )
  7. BC and KSport are manufactured in the same factory - it's all taiwan crap shilled out to whoever shops by budget than by quality. Neither are better than stock other than being able to lower your car KW v3's are the base level of quality anyone should consider over stock (and I'm not a fan of those, but that's another discussion and car specific) - if they don't make v3's for your car, you have a really unpopular platform; they make v3's for practically everything
  8. cool, and your point is????.... my dyno charts were there to support my argument
  9. except it's AMG of all people - where motors are built by hand instead of off a manufacturing line. you hand any of the other engineers of turbo 4-cyl cars a similar resources, it's not that unheard of. remember it's only 380hp rated at the crank, so ~320 wheel dotted line is my car stock then with just basic mods and a tune ~225whp stock to ~275whp already after more fine tuning to the ecu tune ~335whp point being - all from an economy manufacturer with parts still built off manufacturing lines. under an AMG level of budget/resources/R&D, I'm not surprised - impressed, but not blown away
  10. that's not the point - Mazdaspeed was still constrained by an economy manufacturer and an economy price tag on the end product. you hand those same engineers an AMG facility/resources/budget....hitting 380 is not that crazy. respectable, but not mind blowing. I guess people forget how much power a 4cyl turbo can make these days source? did anyone actually run it to/over 200mph or is that all just talk?
  11. yes...a factory AMG....not a factory mass produced car, an AMG. any Evo/Ralliart/WRX/Speed3/(some other turbo four I'm forgetting) can hit that with a dyno tune off their conservative factory tune
  12. 380hp out of a turbo I-4 is not that outrageous??? or am I not understanding the question?
  13. did they elaborate on why a supercharger setup vs a standard anti-lag setup? I'm confused..... though not entirely surprised I guess - the Evo tuning scene is so vastly different in each part of the world, it's kind of weird. very little crossover/similar mindsets when building them
  14. some recent ones are definitely better but the Ouroboros is ancient....I'm still surprised Razer still sells it for as much as they do. far too overpriced for today's market
  15. no, not angry? sorry it came off that way. annoyed I guess because so many people base a purchase off a random 1-2 sentence post, so just wanted to provide my experience after wasting tons of weeks/dollars buying/trying/returning keyboards their software is the best part though - the flexibility and customization is quite high with the layer system, yet simple enough to handle - it just baffles me how simple and effective it is, and how Corsair's is the exact opposite
  16. we have whole threads in our own Evo forums dedicated to making fun of these "stance-nation" idiots (thread title is "*** Official Stance is a Lifestyle Bro Thread (the fuck stance thread) *** (Pages: 1 2 3 4 ... 9 )" we don't understand it either. we never will
  17. honestly, dota2 felt better at 1080p for me. 1440p, while sharper in quality, just felt too enlarged and zoomed for no real benefit
  18. Razer's Blackwidow Chroma is still one of the best keyboards out there, especially for the prices they are going for now. I've tried tons and I just keep coming back to it. #1. Look...if you're pre-programmed to hate anything not Cherry MX, then just move on and get a life. Do something more productive with your time than posting in every mechanical switch/keyboard thread about how Cherry MX is superior. For those that aren't so close minded, the greens feel pretty much the same as Blues in real world use. The Razer quality control IS better than standard Kailh (I've owned/lived with a Kailh blue keyboard as well). And I also bet 90% of people end up typing the same speed/accuracy regardless of switch - trying to argue that one is "better" over the other is such a stupid waste of time. (90% of) you are picking preference/preferred feedback on the switch. I've tried every single switch (full keyboards, not a switch tester), and I end up with ~130wpm on every single one, whether I hate the switch or really like it - it all ends up the same #2. Razer really has intelligent programmers there. Synapse just works well with their product suite - and the Chroma configuration in particular is so simple yet effective that it boggles my mind that Corsair's is so buggy and unintuitive. Obviously it doesn't have as much deep customization, but honestly - for 90% of consumers, they just don't care to dive that deep into it. All the core lighting functions are there, and the photoshop-like layers design of the software make it SOOO easy to customize and give tons of options Also Razer Synapse is the most consistent software I've used when it comes to program detection and switching profiles. Every other software from everyone else occasionally will bug out ~50% of the time and not correctly switch profiles when alt-tabbing, but Synapse has NEVER failed to do so. I don't bother setting up shortcuts to switch profiles because I'm 100% confident the software will do it properly #3. The build quality is fine. Good lord I will never understand this hate. It's still the least flexing keyboard I've handled. It wasn't until I tried a WASD CODE (which all the Razer haters will tell you is miles ahead of the Blackwidow) that I realized how flimsy the CODE felt in build quality and how amazingly sturdy and solid the Blackwidow felt. If you have a problem with malfunctions, use your god damn warranty. All electronics are built by the hundreds overseas people - lemons are inevitable. Warranties exist for a reason - learn to use them #4. FULLY customizable. People gloss over this too much. EVERY key is reprogrammable. Some life-hack tips I've done to mine: - Scroll Lock = new Chrome window - M1 key = macro to move current window to next monitor and maximize it - M2 key = macro to open image in new tab (so you can copy the URL of just the picture to use somewhere else, or save just the picture) - M3 key = reopen last closed tab (mouse button was short one button to do this, rest of the chrome tab related functions are on my mouse) - M4 key = volume up (I hate using FN+key, feels slow/awkward) - M5 key = volume down #5. The price. I think they go for $130ish now (bought mine at $155) and I can't believe how expensive other keyboards are and how people tolerate it. It's literally a FULLY customizable and programmable keyboard with full RGB customization for sub $150???? Every time I would try another keyboard, I would just look at it and say "it's nice.....but for literally the same price or less, I don't have to be stuck with ___ color, ____ keys, no macros, etc etc" *keyboards I've tried K70 non-RGB (didn't feel the need to try the RGB, it would be the same as far as keyboard) WASD Code (twice, to try MX clear and MX green) CM Storm Quickfire TK Logitech G910 Ducky Shine 3 Azio MGK1 Azio Mech5 Tesoro G1NL probably some others I'm forgetting. It all ended up to..."yeah....I spent the same amount and had to give up ____ feature compared to the BW Chroma" You get so much for your money with a BW Chroma. If you think it's all because it uses "trash" Kailh/Razer switches, then scroll up and read #1.
  19. uhh.....have you not read ANY of the posts above you? that seller (ANY seller) is afraid of being completely sh*t on by ebay, so of course they'll replace it. anything to not deal with ebay getting involved ebay is 99% safe for buyers because their policies are so bullcrap
  20. That instills SOOOOO much confidence in me I mean, it must be HARD saying you would just delay a game if it isn't receiving well! Surely delaying it will fix all the issues on the LINE Because, you know, delaying a game will always solve the poor creative decisions that the game is built upon! so it delays always equal a good game in the end!
  21. and he's looking at a 35k price range car the BRZ/GT86 is great for what it is, but it's a completely lower class of car compared to what he's looking for
  22. have you checked the boxter/cayman? regardless of how their styling strikes you, the handling in those is just sublime. You practically steer with your shoulders
  23. roadblock???? graphics company develops tools to make graphics technology integration easier for game developers - people who did NOT go to school for graphics research game developer doesn't have to spend hundreds of thousands trying to implement graphics technology/design nor spend the time/money to get it to run well. game developers can spend more time on designing....GASP....GAMES. games are cheaper to develop. less game developers run out of money or get shut down. consumers get better....gasp....GAMES OMG HOW HORRIBLE! NVIDIA IS SO ANTI-CONSUMER WITH THEIR DEVELOPMENT TOOLS! a microprocessor company can't accept the fact that their SIDE business of graphics/GPU's isn't up to par with that of a graphics-based company.....so they pout and complain instead of just adopting what's been done so well and focus their attention on their own business strength of microprocessors? ... k..... do you even stop to think about how much better off those game developers would be if they just took their programming knowledge elsewhere? do you ever stop to think about how stupid game development is as a career choice? - innovative gameplay idea - code the base game engine - develop concept art and story - implement art into usable game models - market game to the public - polish gameplay - polish visuals/graphics - QA test every aspect of the game - Optimize the game for multiple platforms AND THEN - Hope it actually sells well enough to not be a flop and a waste of money? you're talking about people that turn this: to this: AND it has to be fun to play? received well? and reasonably priced? ORRRR you could take that programming knowledge and help develop more critical software that people use everyday and pay much more money for? .... but you can't see past your narrow minded "wah wah wah, my wallet" consumer view, so....whatever
  24. man....I can't wait to see you run a business NVidia's best decision WAS that they expanded past hardware yeah, let's just develop desktop GPU's over and over and over and expect our business to grow from the same old stuff year after year in a dwindling market of tablets/mobile
