  1. Check out the video JayzTwoCents posted the other day. That'll answer your question.
  2. Arctic Silver is a good thermal paste. As for budget fans, the one on there is going to be the best for the money. If you want to upgrade, I'd suggest an SP120. Don't buy a cheap $5 fan though. You won't see a difference with a cheap fab.
  3. Those seem like within the range of normal temps. I had a 212 on before moving over to AIO and my high temp with an OC was around 65. Start with reapllying thermal paste. If the temps don't change then try new fans.
  4. I just got me a new wireless access point. A much needed upgrade. I had a Linksys E3000 and I've had that thing for almost 6 years. I upgraded to the Wirecutter's recommendation of the TP-Link Archer C-7 (v2). I went from having 25mbps down over WiFi to 68mbps. I didn't think AC wireless would give me such a big jump like that. The "software" to set it up is super easy to use as it's all browser based and super straight forward. The best part, I put it on my Amazon wishlist last Wednesday and bought it Friday and the price dropped $10.
  5. I use a controller where it makes more sense to me; Tomb Raider, Bastion, Assassin's Creed, Skyrim. If it makes it easier for me to sit back(being comfy) and enjoy the game then I'll use a controller. I'll use keyboard and mouse for RTS', any moba I might be playing or where a controller doesn't make sense.

  7. Not just slidey fun, but 300 bhp, AWD, only available in stick, slidey fun. It looks bad ass.
  8. I would like it to be the other way. Hell, even if they offered a wireless dongle for the controller I'd be happy.
  9. GM. My wife has had nothing but problems with her Cobalt. Leaks every where and they refuse to do anything about it. Recalls galore. And my old 2008 Pontiac G6 GT crapped the bed 2 years in to owning it and I bought it brand new off the lot.
  10. GPU. As stated above, the monitor won't improve performance.
  11. I hope you're not saying the fans on the G1 turn off while not under load because that's not true. I have a G1 and the fans never turn off. While they do slow down to about 30% while under idle, they don't shut off completely like the Asus or EVGA. Back onto the topic of the question at hand, I couldn't recommend the G1 enough. I love mine. Overclocks like a champ and stays super cool.
