  1. Yeah they were good, I had them maybe 5 or so years ago before giving to my buddy who also enjoyed them. I had the CR3. I wanted to get something with bluetooth and matched my desk better so I picked up a Edifier R1700BT— which sound pretty good and are louder
  2. Look like mackie bookshelf speakers, used to have a pair. CR3 maybe.
  3. I would try the basics-- re-seat the vga and ram. Check those gold pins for any issues. Maybe put the gpu in another pciex16. Try booting into safemode if you can. If possible check the bios for any other than normal settings. You could try booting into a windows installer or something on a usb stick to see if you can get consistent video out or if windows screwed you like they normally do. Its funny because this has happened to me. Walk away for a few hours and bam the dang thing is broken. I blame windows.
  4. Have you tried just using 1 stick of the RAM to see if the issue still happens if it does then trying the other stick? **and trying different dimm slots if issues do happen with one stick?
  5. You answered your own question. "i don't wanna spend money" paired with "wait for holidays and save more money?" I think its pretty clear what you should do..
  6. I bought a car seat on ebay for 50 bucks and put it on a.. donor office chair with a good base. I think it was taken from a Chrysler Pacifica. Auto industry has higher standards, especially with comfort in seating. I have had it about 4..5 years ish. Sit in it at least 4 hours a day, closer to 10 now that I am working from home. It is in great condition and is super comfy. In contrast to the donor office chair that lasted a year before going to crap. You could find something with lumbar adjusting support too. The seat I use is tied under tension and it does not move from the base.. at all. I've moved a few times this thing flying around in the back of the truck no problem. Yeeee haww.
  7. In short I get tired of manually sliding the power slider down to 69% for certain games and would like it more so automated. I do this in order to get rid of the coil whine. I only do this for a select few games like cities skylines. Is there a way to force a power target limit when running certain applications? I only briefly messed around in the Nvidia control panel because I knew it had application based settings-- but no luck. I didn't really look into the EVGA XOC for anything. Any solutions to my ailments folks?
  8. I think it uses string theory and does some anti aliasing in a different dimension.
  9. I don't run into any problems on my x34 in terms of games and aspect ratio problems. I always run it OCed at 100Hz. Gsync makes everything sexy. Lots of room for activities.
  10. put a bottle of your favorite beer (empty) with some lights inside of it and then sneakily snaked out of the cap and then illuminate your beer standing next to your stuff.
  11. You could spend your money on a better monitor
  12. 1440p on a 24" WILL look great! Noticeably better, cool and refreshing over the ol 1080. Sounds like a decent deal.
