Hello, So, with the release of pascal, I'll be upgrading my GPUs. I'll buy 2 or 3 GPU's to run on SLI. Anyways, I was wondering if I should just get the 1080 once it's out or wait for the "Titan"? If so, around when would it be released?

So you can't afford either build? "Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available" -
Best no GPU build for $1000 CAD
cortexcortex replied to Clanscorpia's topic in New Builds and Planning
For the same price ($10 less), you're getting much better performance with the build I chose. Cooler temps (better cooler), more CPU performance, better PSU; basically, better everything. -

Thank you so much! Which constellation would you go for? I'm between the Constellation Andromeda and the Constellation Aquila. Also, how much can I do now if I buy it right now? What I mean is, can I do anything of the mentioned (exploring, etc) with this Alpha version?

Budget?

I enjoy exploration & contraband (if possible).
-
With that build, you should just get a GPU.. Not like you're gonna get so much performance of overclocking your iGPU. Anyways, I believe iGPU clock speed is based on the CPU vCore.
-
That's actually quite impressive.

Most expensive thing in your setup?
cortexcortex replied to Goodman2265's topic in General Discussion
5960x, 2 980 Ti's or 1.2TB Intel 750 Series SSD most likely -
I can imagine.
-
The reference difference between them (290 and 390) isn't that big at all, about a 5% improvement. Anyways, 2560x1440 144hz 2560x1440 GTX 980 Ti SLI X99 i7 (i7 5960x) Yes Ultra

You get up to 60 fps on 5960x1080, ultra/high in most games? If so, that's impressive.
