Wendell felt that Logan wasn't being honest with where the patreon and ad funding were going and basically called out Logan asking him where the large sums of money are going. Meanwhile Logan deflects and dismisses everything and closes down the tek syndicate forums for a week or more, Pistol accuses Wendell of the money loss and continues to berate the community, accuses Quain of being incompetent and he quits. Logan just continues like nothing happened, trying to hire new guys to continue the channel. That's about it.

I'm voting Wendell for president. That's my 2 cents on this whole Tek Syndicate debacle.

borderless, BS i can see the border quite well and .5 inch thick on the edge? ... im taking a look at my rog swift pg279 and the border looks the same(about half inch) and its right about .5 inches thick at the edge, of curse its only 1440p @ 165hz but for only 750$. Hmm. edit: busted out the tape measure, the bezel on the pg279 is 3/8 inch thick and the thickness of the panel at the edge is a tiny bit less than half an inch thick. of course it is only 27" ips panel at 1440, but 5k$, wow.

the comment you quoted was not discussing the performance of crossfire rx 480's, I was only helping you understand what you were quoting.

thats not the point. the point is this power problem is compounded in crossfire configuration.

What you cant see in these benchmarks is the terrible stuttering these cards produce in crossfire. The FPS number is indeed high, but there is no point in a high number if what you actually see is booty. Hopefully they can fix this issue.

I'm having the same issue. My ram is currently only 1600mhz and have seen several claim that the speed of the ram is very important in fallout 4. Tomorrow im heading to the local microcenter and grabbing me some 2400mhz sticks. Ill return here to let you know what I find out! \ Crap... now ive started again! im looking at getting a 6700k with ddr4 3200mhz and obv a new mobo to go along... its hard to stop!

My microcenter recieved 20x 1080's each shipment and they were all sold out within a single day each time. I might go ahead and pick me up a 480 as well! I think its a 100% guarantee that the 480 will be the most popular GPU in this time period.

Got my 1080 EVGA superclock about 1.5 weeks ago, no looking back. Its running at a chilly 59c @ 2049mhz(55%fan speed,no voltage tweak) performance through the roof ofc.

LOL!!!! Wait for 380/390? They are already out and the 1080 will crush them into paste. If you meant 480/490, then the 480 still gets crushed into paste although for 200$ its a good buy. The founders card is a bit over priced and the custom cards are indeed being priced gouged currently. But it sounds like you are not a high-end buyer, so there is zero reason for you to complain unless you are just salty and jelly.

1070 over r9 fury any day. 4gb VRAM is just not going to be enough in upcoming AAA titles. Also in benchmarks its been shown that most of the time a 1070 is actually a bit more powerful than a 980ti.
