silvrbckgorilla reacted to Sors in Quick question about using your (smart)TV as monitor for laptop
It won't be using up more GPU, is just a display, there is no difference between using a TV and the integrated display if you keep both at the same resolution.
If on the other hand you want to use a higher resolution for the TV than what your integrated display has, it will use a bit more processing, but I have used even Pentium 4 machines with a 1080p resolution. So don't worry about it.

yep just connect via hdmi, set your screen so when you close it it just goes black and doesnt turn off. Get a good wirless keyboard and away you go!

you are correct the files remain on the google drive. These are stored on Google Servers elsewhere.

Google Drive shouldn't be affected
unless you manage to corrupt the files without NTFS catching that and you sync them to Google Drive

silvrbckgorilla got a reaction from 7850OC in Sapphire vs. MSI
I decided to get R9 390.
Should I get MSI Gaming or Sapphire NITRO OC?
Is there reason to get one over the another?
MSI is 5% more expensive.

Sapphire has better cooling, and makes the best AMD GPU's hands down.

Good job I mentioned that isn't it, I did wonder why all these people were telling you to go for the 390, clearly they know not what they are on about.
