Mine as well, but this is my last semester at this uni so I dont mind it. 3 classes, 2 of which are 3 days long a piece.

It's hard enough doing this semester online where I'm at.

Doesn't help that my uni isn't on the ball as far as communication is concerned. No idea what's going on for assessment later in the year.

@TheGlenlivet Without in person lecture I have no motivation and I feel like everything is optional and doesn't have consequences. Also cheating is rampant with online classes and I know I won't actually learn anything because of that ability to just have all the answers.

That's rough, man.  It sounds like you have some serious knuckling down to do to get through next semester....

I like it better than in-class for most classes anyway.

Just don't get behind, then it becomes tough to catch up.

The weight training class I signed up for which was most definitely not suppose to be online the Professor is crying out to the entire class about their complete lack of participation. Nobody is writing in their "Workout Journals", nobody is commenting on the YouTube videos she's linking, nobody is responding to her messages.

All the messages she's sent to the whole class (there's like 6 now that she's sent in less than 2 weeks) are just titled with all caps complaining that nobody is doing/submitting any work.

And I'm just here like: "I did some squats...walked a whole bunch...that one workout video is nice because I don't have equipment..."

lemme tell you, I finished school on the 31st of January, just before all the closures etc, and lemme tell you, if online classes were a thing a while ago when I still had lessons everyday I would have been so happy. online lessons were my dream, let me tell you why.

one reason is time. because I had to spend 1.5hours in public transport just to get to school (I had to wake up at 6:45 and I'd be at school at 8:15 ish) that ate 3 hours out of my day. that's very significant.

about the motivation thing, it's simple. just do what you always did in school. only now the teacher is on a screen and not there in person. you get the same lectures and everything.

and the cheating, well, just don't look. I've had answers for things scroll by in the class group chats, and I just didn't open them. I straight up didn't look. I've never cheated on a test in my life, and I'm proud of that. the end result is that classmates who I knew shared answers with each other were cursing and everything on the exams, whereas for me they were super easy because I just knew everything.

you just have to look at the advantages. you don't have to waste time actually travelling to school, and you can use your desktop setup for schoolwork instead of relying on your laptop. that in particular could have saved me loads of time, because I had to use VM's and stuff in class, and if I had my gaming pc to run them which is more than twice as fast as my laptop that could have been very nice.

I know this requires some self control, especially the don't look part with cheating, but I'm confident you can do this.
