I suspect a lot of it is research and profit...lots of profit. Also for sockets like LGA 2011-3 they had to create a whole new socket for their high end chips. Also physical material for cores. -
So do you reckon I would be absolutely fine in a 250D with a 140mm silentwings 2 at the front, 2 80mm at the back exhausting, and the side fans intaking (for now just fans, later h100i gtx)

It really pisses me off when companies do this, it is like bitfenix with their pandora ATX, in the end I just bought my PC, got released a week later. I need fans... so do I wait, or do I buy?

What is your total budget? It is possible that we might be able to put together a more powerful build for you - for example, such an expensive motherboard is not necessary, and the money could be invested in other areas.

£30 over budget, which is 50% again, for a second hand case that will likely have scratches, accessories missing, etc. The 750D is larger than necessary for ATX, and has an outdated bunch of features. The s340 is the BEST option at this price pointl

As a tablet, this thing is amazing. But therein lies the problem; professionals likely do not want or need the benefits a tablet has over a standard laptop, and would hate the disadvantages. For £60 more than the 32GB WiFi model of this tablet, you can get the base mac book air, which has a keyboard and mouse already, runs a desktop OS - hence programs that come with that- and can be propped up easily, so it can be used as an entertainment system on your lap without you having to hold it. This fulfils what it is amazingly - it is a wonderful tablet, likely the best mobile OS device in its class. But it makes no sense.

Is yours stock? This was not OC. Also, he used a 5820K, so that shouldn't bottleneck. Sorry, I made this a while ago and haven't got around to updating it yet. I will likely make a whole new thread, including stuff on DX12, etc.

READ THE GODDAMN BLOG POST. NOT HARD. We also shipped a recent update that will automatically monitor and maintain consistency of the players skill groups distribution. That should eliminate the need to make such disruptive boundary adjustments in the future. My point is evident, I think you'l find.

This has actually made me cocky, because i am unranked (still waiting for my rank, only got 8 wins), and even now am playing with GN1s-2s, after calibration cooldown yesterday. Soo. fun. But it IS NOT a temporary solution. They said that they had some sort of automated way to keep the ranls centered at GNM.

It looks like it could be the Black version of the Corsair Air 240. Looks pretty much the same to me.
