  4. Hey guys! Wanna invite you all to join my first proper build/Water cooling First off, sorry for shitty grammar and bad use of the English language. Currently the PC is my daily rig so updates will be happening on weekends and whenever time allows for it. Basically, the rig is going to get a Thermal and build upgrade, Hardware wise there wont be happening any (planned anyway) upgrades. Specs: Ryzen 5 2600x Asus ROG STRIX X370-I GAMING 16gb G.Skill RGB Evga Geforce GTX 1070 Phanteks Enthoo Evolv Itx Evga 550W With the help of a friend we will be doing a hard tube build. (Renders of concept is below parts). Idea is to lower the ceiling of the case so that we can run soft tubing between everything up there and have hardtubing where visible so that everything will be looking sharp but still not too hard for us to do. At some point we might add a distro plate to the top instead but we need a CNC for that to happen first. We want to create the "fake" Ceiling with some acrylic plate and paint. We also want to do a custom back-plate for the GPU using acrylic and a laser cutter to do some engraving into the acrylic (Design not done yet) All parts have been ordered and we are hoping to start the build within next week if possible. Watercooling Parts: Cuplex kryos NEXT with VISION AM4 EK-XRES 100 DDC EK Water Blocks EK-FC GeForce GTX FE RGB - Nickel 2 x Noctua NF-P14s redux-1500 14 x Alphacool Eiszapfen fittings Nickel 6 x XSPC - 90° Adapter 6 x XSPC - ¼" BSPP (G1/4) 1 x Tubing - PVC - 13/10mm 1 x EKWB EK-CryoFuel Solid - Azure Blue 6 x XSPC - Bulkhead - G1/4 Black Chrome 1 x EKWB EK-AF Extender 6mm M-M G1/4 1 x EKWB EK-AF Extender Rotary M-M G1/4 - Nickel 1 x XSPC - G¼ Plug with 10k Sensor 1 x XSPC - 4 Way Fitting - G¼ - Chrome
  5. https://www.msi.com/Graphics-card/GeForce-GTX-1070-Quick-Silver-8G-OC.html#hero-overview https://www.computersalg.dk/i/1633219/msi-geforce-gtx-1080-v336-004r is it worth going for the 1080?
  6. i mostly play Overwatch, BF3 and the like so maybe i should look for used i7 3770k? and just get cheapest non-reference 1080? am playing in1080p now, planning on going to 1440p i want to go to 1080 so it will last me longer
  7. hey all! first off, sorry for shitty english.. i am currently rocking this setup: Intel Core I5 3570k - Coolermaster Seidon 120XL Asrock Z77E-ITX EVGA GTX 770 Superclocked ACX Kingston HyperX 16gb 1600 MHz XFX core PRO550W Bitfenix Prodigy Samsung 840 250gb SSD Kingston V300 120gb SSD 2tb HDD and for some time now i have been saving and wanting to do an upgrade. i have always been very interested in custom watercooling, but never had the guts or money to try it out. This i want to change! My plans for upgrade are as follows: change gpu to 1080 (havent decided which yet) change case to Phanteks Enthoo Evol Itx in white. I really want to make an all white/black build, with black fittings, clear tubing and white liquid. i want to make it as clean and esthetically pleasing as possible. some questions: if i want to go custom watercooling, should i just get the cheapest 1080 and throw on a waterblock? or should i still go for a decent 1080? Should i upgrade my 3570k and mobo too, to reduce bottlenecking, or can it still do enough to not hold back a 1080? thoughts and concerns? will make a build log if people want me to
  8. the feeling when sellers bail on you.. Oh well, i will be looking for more used Hifi i guess :-) thanks for all the input @spwath and @Dackzy
  9. All the speakers are passive. Dont know about the sub tho...
  10. i am buying used, which is why the prices are so low compared to new ;-)
  11. but would i get sound from the whole setup? Also, what do you think of the reciever? Know the speakers are not the most amazing sounding, but since i am comming from a cheap 2.1 pc speaker system (altec Lansing mx5021) i am pretty sure it will sound way better :-)
  12. Hey guys. Total audio noob here so sorry for some stupid questions.. I am considering buying the following setup 2 Scandyna Minipod mk1 2 Scandyna Micropod mk2 1 Scandyna Cinepod mk2 1 BassStation (subwoofer). mk2 And then a Yamaha Rx-V373 i can get this for around 6000 Dkk (1000$) Can i connect my ps4, Tv, Tv box and chromecast to the reciever? also, if i want to stream audio to the speakers, will a chromecast Audio work? Any inputs, please hit me!
