  2. looks like its just to show the board is getting power, if its constant.
  3. if you do take everything out you can see if its shorting out, or youve missed a stand off, will also make the diagnosis alot easier, it sounds like a short which is why I said take it out the case, i understand its annoying, but its something else you can tick off, and then rebuild it, you might just have missed something simple and putting it together again might fix it, that was all, didnt mean to be rude, i was tired sorry.

  5. That's the best, or they cherry pick bits, or have not read the article
  6. Really? Some pay a high price for the knowalge on this site, We can spend hours with someone on a thread trying to help them fix something, we spend that time, after ourselfs learning bits for years, so just wondering why you guys\girls help others out, spending time on PC part picker , explaining things, googling for them. For me I like to think that even if one person got their rig working or bought something good that they will want to learn more and hopefully stop the misinformation that happens, I train people at work and its always great to see people do something new, and have that sense of accomplishment, So why do you?
  7. I fucking love you, in almost every thread your recommending good stuff and going for good solid psu's , keep the faith brother! They need to learn
  8. What's this "sport" thing you speak off?

  11. ok dude, can you post a pic of your ssd/hdd connected to your motherboard, also can you try and take one of the memory sticks out, and try to boot to the bios or by pressing F8 or F12 (cant remember which) to get you to the boot select screen
  12. LOL so much this, the amount of times Iv said ..."so any questions" and iv got uhhhhh not really... or when do i get paid* i could scream at them, its frustrating. I completley agree with Mr @watts300
  13. so according to that you say you work better in teams then give an example of working alone ( focus on diagnosing)? give an example of a challenge you faced while saying iv repaired hundreds of PC's or an anecdote, so you have a story of how you found the problem quickly and fixed it, dont give an example of *oh it took me days to figure it out, and it turned out the keyboard was unplugged lawl haha ) they will want to be wanting some one they can work with on a day to day basis, and not think *oh its that know it all prick again* give examples on what you have done, built a server, built a router from old parts, things like this us as employees love, because it shows your not just talking shit, you know what you mean. and if you dont know something then say, im not familiar with that system, or iv not heard of that before but it sure sounds interesting, can you tell me a little more about it? rather then the standard "I dont know" things like that get you lots of points, interview's are draining to do,.and if the employer has afew on that day they can get really bored of hearing the same shit over and over again, come in with something fresh, a good interview should be like a conversation, free flowing and natural, when it feels awkward or forced, then the tone can change it it becomes a question and answer session, that is a huge mistake. say you are learning other things for example, coding, networking, software programming, 3d printing, this shows you are continually leaning, dont talk about your CV to much...they know they read it ( i'll be honest i usually scan read them ) but highlight things in the convo, but dont just repeat your CV to them, they want to meet you. not your representative. be natural, stay calm and show them you are the right person for the role
  14. Looks to me its just not good enough iv only done a quick look though
  15. Could be a marginal PSU problem, or a Windows Error First try System File Checker Winkey plus 'X' Choose Command Prompt (Admin) Type sfc /scannow then Enter It finds and fixes errors in Windows, but doesn't always report them. Run it and see if the fault disappears after re-booting your system If corrupt files are found that can’t be fixed, try Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth (Observe spaces before /) Re-run SFC To view CBS Log findstr /c:"[sR]" %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log >sfcdetails.txt Search C drive for sfcdetails.txt or navigate to C:\Windows\System32 and scroll down.
  16. also try making sure that you have the following option ticked in the task bar and start menu settings: 'Enable context menus and dragging and dropping"
