I have the corsair tx750w PSU that i bought back in 2010 and im gonna update the cpu/mobo when the new 7700k/7600k/amd cpu My specs will be: gigabyte 970 G1 Corsair h100i NEW CPU overclocked NEW MOBO NEW DDR4 16GB ram Samsung 840 pro 128GB SSD Samsung 960 evo 500GB SSD WD 1TB HDD Is there any reason to update my current PSU?

So i found out that for some reason my cpu/ram overclock was reverted back to standard settings. So after overclocking it back too 4ghz, i got much better results. So here is my new submission: i7-930 @ 4.0ghz Gigabyte 970 g1 - 1328/1828 63,4 2652 Extreme HD

How come i get so low results, is it my cpu? or do i have a bad card? this was as high as i could go in terms of clock speeds. i sat the powerlimit to 112 and core voltage to +87 (highest i could go in msi afterburner). In the doc i see people that get 60-70fps with 970. Running nvidia driver 344.60. I also have the coil whine issue, does this effect the result in any way? i7-930 @ 4.0ghz Gigabyte 970 g1 - 1328/1828 56.4 2360 Extreme HD

Well not died exactly... I bought the 290x used and i had problems with it so the seller sent it back, when he was retriving the new card that was sent, it was stolen from his car. Yeah weird situation, but got my money back. 980 would be 780$
