I'd say 3 horizontal since it gives the best of either surround gaming, productivity and just gaming on one screen and having teamspeak or what ever on the others.
ofc from a pure gaming perspective a single monitor like 4K Gsync or 1440p 144Hz GSync would be a lot more usefull. but if you ever find yourself wishing for multiple screens - take 3 of the same. I've been running triple monitor at different resolutions for 5 years now and it sucks. It is useful but it sucks at the same time.
 
So my vote is triple 1440p and get at least the middle one 144Hz. that way you can have a really good gaming monitor in the center and if you find a game that is awesome in surround you can just switch it on in the driver and you're good to go. ofc GPU needs to be majorly upgraded.
 
6 panels (in 2x3) is awesome but a waste of money if you aren't like me and love lots of monitoring on fullscreen on other panels or actually do work on them
you could also use 6 as 6x1 vertically which gives a nice huge image even in games that dont support surround/eyefinity resolutions like Dota2 but the bezel gets annoying. also you will have to take a few steps back to actually look at it without getting a headache.
 
concerning a monitor with a slim bezel: Dell U2715H and models above that.

No way you are playing on triple displays on Dayz/Rust with that GPU on triple 1080p monitors at least not above low/medium settings
 
 
I would rather buy a 27"+  144hz 1440p gsync (or 60hz 4k)
 
or maybe ultrawide 1440p over triple displays

I host Plex(for friends and family), game servers, web servers, database servers, automatic downloading servers (usenet), file servers, and etc.

Small one is my Firewall, Big one is for VMWARE, hosting virtual Servers for people.

So was wondering if you guys have servers and if so what do you use them for? I have 2 vps 1 currently just for teamspeak and one laying dormant (might see if i can fold on it)
 
Also if its a NAS pre-bought or custom build which do you prefer?
