I remember the older HTC One series promo videos that also boasted their elegant build process and whatnot, but sadly nowadays their design team are working as janitors

So @Scia made a post I'm sure many of you saw, titled “What happened to LTT?”
And he went through and explained what he saw happening to Linus Tech Tips as it became more of a company than a small youtube channel.
He mentioned the increased video quality, but with more ads, a different targeted audience, the more laid back WAN show and so on and so on.

This honestly just made me step back and take a look at LTT for myself.
I’ve been watching LTT ever since they reviewed the old Asus Transformer TF101 and I was hooked ever since.

Hi guys new to overclocking. But have a few questions that I want to ask.

    Current Specs:

    Gigabyte EP45-UD3P
Intel Q9550 (Currently OC to 3.4ghz with 400mhz fsb, running stable @ 45~C)
    2x2G Cosair DDR2 @800mhz (5 5 5 18)
    2x2G Patriot DDR2 @800mhz (4 4 4 12)
    Asus GTX560

So currently I am OC to the stable 3.4ghz, but now I want to at least get 3.8ghz. My question is would I be able to get to the 3.8ghz range with my current setup? Because I kind of maxed out the 1:1 ratio with the 800mhz ram I have. What would I need to do inorder for me to go higher? Also, is running 2 sets of ram with different timings bad?

    Thanks for the help

Hi there guys! It's my first time doing this overclocking. I used a software from Gigabyte called Easytune 6. Just wanted to ask any recommendations. I only adjusted the FSB from 333 to 400 to reach 3.2GHz but after setting it, I found out that my DRAM frequency also increased from 400 to around 480 I think. I attached some screenshots. Am I doing it right or any recommendation guys? Should it be fine, should I downclock it a little or is it still capable to go over 3.2GHz? I am just using a stock cooler with a generic power supply.

Not too shabby. Looking at that Xeons are definitely just significantly higher binned consumer chips with the tabs in a different orientation.
