  1. I can't screenshot because I'm only in terminal. lsblk, fdisk and ls shows /dev/SDA and /dev/SDB and their partitions, the SSD should be /dev/SDC, its definitely not detected because the SSD is 120gb and none of the sizes in lsblk match that.
  2. My SSD is detected by the BIOS but when I boot into Linux, it is not shown.
  3. The IP bill means ISPs have to record your web history for a year and it is accessible by the taxman, food standards agency and more Petition: https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/173199/ News article: http://m.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/technology/your-entire-internet-history-to-be-viewable-by-psni-taxman-dwp-and-food-standards-agency-and-other-government-bodies-within-weeks-35242522.html
  4. More ram, I already have 16gb but I need some more because android rom development needs 16gb for the build vm and ides use a metric shitton of ram.
  5. It's been finished since April but I was too lazy to update the thread. Here's an album of photos of the case and the cardboard box I used for my pc while the wood one was being built. https://goo.gl/photos/SsLEhgHeTUvFMXRc8 I'll add more photos sometime on Sunday. Its probably the most impractical case possible, it can take more than 15 minutes to mount the motherboard, the power supply's cables aren't long enough so I had to get an extension for the CPU power cable and put the power supply futher in the case than it is meant to go so the motherboard power cable can reach, my sata cables arent long enough to reach the hard drives if they are routed properly so they have to go through an empty fan hole instead, I had to make extensions for the power buttons and leds. However, it is a very good case, it has enough room to do pretty much anything. It cost less than a low end mid tower but it can be used for as much as the best case labs cases.
  6. Don't worry! Your unencrypted home email server will be safe for even the most top secret emails.
  7. I have a similar problem on my street, there's some bell end opposite my house who randomly decides to rev his engine for 2+ hours at a time. The people in the house behind mine have a dog that they leave outside all the time so it barks all day, and the people next door have a dog that barks constantly.
  8. Its of a separate system. I had a webserver running on it that hosted the usage statistics and the Pi checks that and updates roughly every second.
  9. I use it because: It's better for coding It's more stable after being left running for a week It never needs rebooting, you can replace the kernel and not need to reboot(you should but it's not necessary)
  10. The reason mustard is always cold is because it is put on after the hot dog has been cooked so less heat will get to it. Mustard is probably not a good heat conductor so most of the heat will stay on the CPU. Although, anything canbe used as thermal paste just with varying levels of effectiveness.
