I usually just see that as "free" and ignore the fast claim. I find shipping usually takes about the same amount of time unless its going across international borders
I really do need to get away from my 5$ goodwill office chair but i don't think this is the one for me. I do kinda like the wheels though. I can never pick up dog hair fast enough to keep it out of the wheels
No, not IMO. I'd go with the spc at those prices. It's fine for low restriction loops so 1-2 blocks and 1-2 rads should be ok.
edit: in case you haven't seen it: http://thermalbench.com/2016/06/30/ek-xtop-spc-60-inc-pump/3/
I assume you're talking about the L series kits? The pump is a little underwhelming since i think it's only a 6w pump but I've used it with 2 rads and 1cpu 1 gpu and it was fine. Bleeding will be harder/take longer but no huge deal.
Whats the price difference between that and the d5 or full ddc kits(i don't remember if those exist)?
I was thinking less than 10each new but i forgot your in Canada. If they're gonna cost you that much might as well go hardline. Id still skip the koolance fittings personally. I never liked them to begin with
If it's just about the temps and you're going to go hardline I'd probably just start that gpu loop with basic straight soft tube compression fittings like you linked (though I'm sure you can find quality fittings cheaper). Do a basic GPU only loop and add a rad and cpu block down the line. I've always found a use for a few soft tube fittings in my builds so it's not like they're a total waste.
Fittings are a risky thing to buy used imo. I'm personally moving away from rotary fittings (hopefully) and especially used rotary fittings seem scary
edit:
Close but I think it averages just below the 980, Probably just didn't want to get an earful. I think a 1070 is still a pretty good replacement for a 980Ti tbh

Glad you got the loop cost down a bit!
I've had a stainless steel gtx 980 kryograpics block for a couple years now and it still looks good as new. Just took it apart for a cleaning recently and it was pristine. Looks as good as the newer 980 plexi block i have
I've only ever seen bad things come from Tt's coolants, I've seen a few pictures of what looks like a slushie frozen in the loop. Personally I'd use something else like mayhem's/EK/primochill
I don't think I've ever really thought about taking any of them apart. Maybe I'll have a go at the ones that leaked and if they get destroyed it's no loss.
hm good to know. I've had a few brands get all wonky so maybe if this "no rotary" plan of mine doesn't work out I'll check out some of barrow's rotaries.
