  1. No need to keep the backs of each letter. Just lay them down on a big sheet of MDF, trace out the shape, mount the components inside the lines, and then stick the front of the letters over the top (just glue a couple blocks of wood around the perimeters and use screws going into the sides of the letters). That gains you extra room to play with that would have been taken up by the backs.
  2. Is there a reason why there's no comparison to the 2080 Super? Obviously with the price difference the 3070 is the logical choice between the two, but should a 2080 Super owner want to make the switch it would be nice to see how they compare.
  3. Anyone else bothered by how shaky this video is, and the frequent tilting? I don't think the aspect ratio helps either.
  4. They took credit card sized sim cards too. I remember cutting mine up when I got a "new" phone that took the small sized (at the time) sims.
  5. My first was a Philips TCD308, from 1997 but it was a hand down from my older sister around 2000-2001. Strange to think that Linus is like 4 years older than me but I had a mobile phone 2-3 years before him. That said I didn't get my first new phone until about 2003-2004, a Sagem MY V-65 which was well ahead of the V100.
  6. So can it still do all the stuff that Cosmo did? Also you say it can play games but Techmoan said the only game is black jack, are there more?
  7. Well if you've got no need for air to flow into the case you can completely seal it. You could rig a proper filter to a standard case and as long as every other gap is sealed it'll keep out the dust, but the filters aren't as easy to clean as your typical mesh one.
  8. Full loop watercooling with an external rad and passively cooled PSU. You'll get dust on the rad and fans but that's easy enough to clean, and you could always stick a decent filter on the fans. Or, since it's external you could go way oversized and passively cool it.
  9. That dust test was extremely disappointing. Why even bother with a hepa filter when such large chucks of dust get sucked in through unsealed gaps? You'd get better results with a regular case with a mesh filter and using some gaffer tape to seal any gaps.
  10. I watch Mind Field and I'm in the UK (so no Red unfortunately), am I missing something? You just pay for each episode. Done the same with Corridor Digital's Lifeline and Colin Furze's World Wonders so I'm going to assume I can do it for any Youtube Red original series (don't know how to find them to check, I've only bought from channels I'm subbed to).
  11. You're talking about the first syllable of sherbet, right? It's close, closer than sha.
  12. How would you say it then? It certainly isn't por-sha, sche (or shh) is very different from sha.
  13. I never said Linus was using the correct pronunciation. However it's probably closer to being correct than por-sha, it's just shortened to one syllable instead of two. If you say it like Linus does but pause after the por it sounds very close. poor-shh
  14. No, it's por-sche, did you even watch the video? It's sort of half way between how Linus says it and por-sha. As I said, I pronounce it the same as Linus.
  15. What's a kamfer? That was far more triggering than the pronunciation of Porsche (especially as I say it the same as Linus, and no "por-sha" isn't he correct German pronunciation).
