  1. Dying Light manager has been taken down for some reason. I was also having issues with this game. I'm running an i5 4460 & R9 290. I would max it out at 25-30 FPS and would get choppy as hell. I changed out the cooling on my card and performance increased dramatically, now getting easily 60 FPS. Not saying you are having a heating issue, but may want to check your temps. I confess, I don't know much about the 970, but I would think it would run it just fine. So it's probably, if anything, your CPU.
  2. Where can I find what version I'm running? I just downloaded it a few weeks ago. And also, I was wrong. I just played streaming out to twitch and only occasionally dropped below 55FPS when a lot of crap was going down.
  3. I have a I5 4460. Not the best CPU, and it is a very CPU intensive game. And no, draw distance is not maxed out.
  4. Gigabyte Z97 Gaming 5 motherboard R9 290 OC'd to 1053 mhz on base; watercooled w/ Kraken G10 & Corsair H50 8GB Corsair Vengeance RAM I5 4460 @ 3.2GHZ watercooled w/ Corsair H100i Phanteks Enthoo Pro
  5. I own one. Bought it about 1 month ago. It was running around 94c while playing Dying Light and the FPS dropped to 15-20. I decided to aftermarket cool it with the Kraken G10 & Corsair H50. Now it at the very most gets to 54c w/ FPS staying consistently at 30-45 in Dying Light. Love the card, but for me the DD cooler didn't work well enough.
  6. I'm a Paramedic
  7. And this is my new wallpaper
  8. So I disassembled and put some cooler master paste on it and just like you, dropped it 20 degrees. Now after Heaven it peaks @ 75.
  9. Forgive me for I'm still kinda green. How can I make sure it's running 12v?
  10. The stock paste should be good enough, right?
  11. Yes; Used the stock paste; yes
  12. I just installed a Kraken G10 onto a XFX R9 290. My idle temps hover around 45 and running the Heaven benchmark it still jumps up to 94 degrees on no overclock. It's attached to a Corsair H50. All fans spinning with no funky noises. What gives?
  13. Getting the i5-4460 instead of shelling out a little more to get the Devils Canyon model
  14. I know this is an old post but I'm just seeing it. How in the hell can you be this stupid and still put your pants on straight?
  15. I never heard of Crystal disk. Downloaded it and it's reading at 31 degrees C. So I don't know what's up, but at least it's not on fire.
