  1. I edited my post, as I thought that was mine, but it wasn't. I got this: http://store.madcatz.com/categories/flightsticks-pro-flight/Mad-Catz-FLY-5-Stick-for-PC.html Cheap, and works fine. There's a review of it on YT here which I found pretty useful:
  2. I got that stick. Edit: no I don't but it looks very similar. Cheapo Mad Catz, works fine though until I can upgrade..
  3. Installing now. Mine seems to be valid until August 25th, so that fits.
  4. That was well hidden, thanks for the link!
  5. I take your word for it I guess, but I can't fink a link to that anywhere on their site.
  6. Wouldn't you need a game package though?
  7. Almost the same for me. 11.2 vs. 12.0, 980.
  8. If you're looking to convert the rest of us, you and @Stuntz are doing a good job. Those shots look amazing!
  9. You must be some sort of masochist... I have three IKEAs close to where I live, and would consider neither of them fun to visit. Navigating through oblivious non-parenting parents with several rampaging kids age 3-8, as well as middle aged moms and dads with petulant and obnoxious teen girls, while trying to find something you want that will look decent and will not require a doctorate in quantum physics to assemble, is not my idea of fun. Root canal sounds infinitely more inviting, or perhaps having your nails pulled. Nevertheless, I shall look for it the next time I'm forced to go there, thanks for the tip!
  10. You will not get disappointed with TVoEC graphics wise.
  11. I'd add Ethan Carter and Alien Isolation to that list myself. Not necessarily the most taxing, but they look good imo.
  12. Wut? Aren't the majority of 21:9 monitors 34''? Or am I just being an idiot?
  13. Well, LMG went for this brand as far as I could tell, so maybe it's worth cheking out? idk. http://www.needforseatusa.com/maxnomic_overview
  14. I literally only cranked bitrate down and fps to 45, and my stream looks a gazillion times better - at least for now (link in profile I guess, but not looking for followers). Thanks a lot man!
  15. Price. Freedom. Edit: oh and FUCK iTunes with a cactus up the a$$.
  16. You, dear sir, seem like a very knowledgeable person. Could you kindly elaborate? 1) shouldn't cranking up the bitrate take care of the artifacts? 2) why do hardware encoders look like balls? Thanks! Edit: I wish that the CoC allowed for "test" streams.
  17. Just you wait, it'll have you crapping your pants before long.
  18. Ok I'm a dumbass. I actually thought the car was moving when you took the pic!
  19. First of all, a bit of critique would be nice, not just a score. Anywhoo. Pretty good picture considering it's a phone. That being said, I've got a few things I don't like. 1) the colours are all washed out. considering the subject matter, a race car, the colours are really important. 2) shutter speed is too high, thus your pic has no sense of movement. Cars in motion are notoriously hard to shoot, let alone with a phone cam... Final verdict from me is a 5/10 Onwards, here's a bit of b&w urban exploration for y'all. Again, I'm an analogue freak, especially in b&w, so the the grain is very much visible.
  20. Dude thanks a bunch! I didn't know that existed.
  21. 1) OBS fits your bill quite well - freeware and once you got it setup, you're good. 2) dunno. but with OBS you can offload the stream to your onboard GPU 3) i use OBS but there are many out there, I guess it's a question of preference. 4) again a question of preference and money. Sony Vegas, Adobe Premiere etc etc 5) either embed directly into your recording or use something like audacity, it's freeware.
  22. ti for sure if money is not an issue. Also, you now have two identical threads going. :-)
