  1. this is an over the top overclocking machine.why is the 5930K bad?
  2. Can't decide between ASUS Rampage V Extreme ASRock X99 OC Formula/3.1 or the Gigabyte X99 SOC Champion. I want the ASrock but I want to watercool my motherboard. And EK doesn't make blocks for it. Any opinions?
  3. Ducky make great keyboards. Also check out Das keyboard.
  4. Thank you for the reply. I'm using Corsair SP120s. Sorry for not knowing the correct termination. Thank you again.
  5. About to make an order on performance-pcs.com ill be getting the stuff I need to finish my loop, and to switch from regular tubing to PETG. The tubing I'll be ordering is EK-HD PETG tube 12/16mm 500mm/19.5" (2 pcs). My question is that I'll be putting all this into the 900D, and I was wondering if I would need some like rigid connectors to connect 2 pieces if the 19.5" is not long enough to make a complete run from say one rad to the pump ( or whatever really) and if so where should I find them. All I'm seeing is just rigid compression fittings, or 90° rotary fittings. Probably a stupid question but thanks for the help. I'm hoping that i will not need them as i would like just a straight clean line from one component to the other. Also another question, In my H440 it has a big fan connector in the back, but the 900D does not. How am i going to hook up 14 fans?
  6. Just a heads up, not a whole lot of room in the H440 for a full custom loop. It's a pain in the ass to put a full loop ( cpu, dual gpu 2 rads, res and d5 pump) I couldn't fit it all in mine. Upgrading to the 900D. There is just very little room in the top for rads and than if you have rom driver and HDDs it makes it a lot more complicated. I suggest getting a bigger case.
  7. I've had my sabertooth mrk 1 for almost a year. I love it. Great board, fantastic build quality, very decent overclocker, and it looks amazing. But honestly these boards are in very different price ranges.
  8. http://www.amazon.com/SABERTOOTH-Z97-MARK-LGA1150-Motherboard/dp/B00QV13LVW And I love my sabertooth. Great board.
  9. One day I won't be a scrub, and I'll learn to overclock GPU's. I want 4k so badly but in a 21:9 format. The system I have now is my first build, first loop and first attempt at overclocking. I've always wanted to and now I have a job where I can (but shouldn't) just blow my money I want a killer rig. Any good advice on overclocking? Where to get custom BIOS and such? And I'll check out that Acer HK280X
  10. I agree, although I won't go so crazy on my cpu. My 4790k works fine for youtube and the gaming I do. I'm thinking of running triple https://www.asus.com/us/Monitors/ROG-SWIFT-PG279Q/ or thr 4k version if it ever his the market,so I guess I'll wait for the "enthusiasts" card to hit. Just hate the waiting game =/Edit: to clarify only 1 of the 4k versions ( maybe a 21:9 variant ;-) )
  11. 1440 atm. I just don't feel that I got my money's worth with the "flagship" card at the time. They just felt like there could have been more, maybe because the titan came out so soon after I made my purchase.
  12. I can tell you that the H440 is not the best for a custom loop. I had a beck of a time fitting mine in. I'm buying a 900D so I can put my cards on water. I can send you pics off my setup if you want.
