On Intel's launch of their newest Xeon Sp Server Lineup, Intel presented their new features and improvements which they implemented in their new processors. However they did not only talk about their own features and what makes them great, but what makes them better than their competitors EPYC/Ryzen processors. Here are the most important comparisons made by Intel and TechPowerUp's take on them: And now for grand finale: My opinion on those claims: I think Intel are concerned about maintaining their (almost complete) marketshare on the server market and tried to answer EPYC with this kind of information. I think it is very misleading to do such a presentation, as it is an unfair (and wrong glued together ) portrayal of the performance jump which AMD made from Bulldozer/Piledriver to Ryzen. It is laughable that such a term even made it into an official presentation of Intel, as it can be taken as an insult to AMD's work on their Infinity Fabric and Ryzen. windows 10 louder sound in the left speaker than the right
FinnHallqvist replied to Dackzy's topic in Audio
I had the same problem after I updated to the Win10 audio drivers. I then installed the Win8.1 64 bit drivers but that still didn't change it. Then I opened the device manager to deactivate all sound drivers and restarted my pc. Then I proceeded to activate them again. After that Right Click your Realtek Audio Driver and go to "Properties" and then to "Drivers" and then press "Install Previous Drivers" (or something along those lines) (I dont know all names because it's in german for me sorry) The button that's faded out is the one I clicked ("Vorheriger Treiber") http://puu.sh/jjXWp/1c6a582050.png Hope this works for you too. Now I just wait for working Win10 Drivers lol. -

Suggestion for a thread for the news section
FinnHallqvist replied to FinnHallqvist's topic in General Discussion
At the moment I only find german threads about it but as soon as I find an english one I'm going to post it. -
Hello everybody, I need your help to make a thread in the news section of the LTT forum. I am not a native english speaker and I don't see myself being able to do that kind of things about this kind of topic. The new topic is about Intel being sued for 1 Billion Euro(Maybe dollar) because of them preventing AMD from selling PCs which have built in hardware made by AMD. I would really like someone to make a topic about it because I think this is kind of important as a new topic in the News section, although it may not be about tech, but about companies who are related to the tech we use. Sincerely FinnHallqvist Edit: Can't even insert a link. I'm so bad at formatting...
