  1. Oh, Linus, your selfishness brings great things. I really don't think its that hard to modify something into a nice stand, but I do understand there are plenty of people who want something more polished, or don't have the time, tools, drive, or whatever to mod something. Either way, this is a really cool idea and there are some neat designs coming through already.
  2. That is quite a punchy machine you got there. I haven't yet bothered trying to get my system quieter. Step one is unplug the 60mm side intake. I like that you said dust filters. I'm not sure if its people not caring to say they got some (for cases without) but it makes you seem like you care about your system and actually use it.
  3. I was curious about the acoustics as well. Was it running in the background when Luke was going through the performance? Either way, I'm really excited for the case review. I love small form factors. Went with an Elite 130 for my first build, but I'll go smaller next time.
  4. I think, especially for the price, the 4790k is worth it with what you have in mind. Where are you planing to live? I know some dorms have absolutely no room so that might be a case consideration. If you plan to be moving every year I probably would avoid water, but that's personal. I really dig the NCase. You could have even more peace of mind and slap a huge Noctua on it: http://d2oadd98wnjs7n.cloudfront.net/medias/767690/pictures/full/20130420163501-2013-04-19-02.13.24.jpg?1366500904
  5. Hello! Good to see all the new people. I like many just built my first computer. With no tech background, LTT videos were my school with one check on this forum, I'm amazed at what I've learned. I hope to contribute to this awesome community.
  6. Didn't manage my fan cables too well, unplugged my rad fan putting the case sides back (CM Elite 130) on and stared for hours at high temps.
  7. Yeah it should definitely be added. Even if its a bit unnecessary, it's a really nice touch.
  8. You're right. It runs without a problem. Thanks. http://imgur.com/lCDCIug
  9. Alright, I'll give it ago, thanks. It seems people do this all the time.
  10. I'm currently building on a M-ITX bord and I have a AIO cooler and 2 case fans. However I only have 2 headers. Can I split for 3 fans on one header? I have heard 1 amp is the max you should go on a header but I should check my mobo. I couldn't find anything on my Asrock H97-M-ITX/ac. Is 1 amp a general industry standard? Molex is not really a good option plus I would have to buy some cords anyways so a spliter would be cheaper and less of a burden in my small case. I figure I leave the AIO pump to have one header and spit the other one. The 3 fans would max at .86 amps. Fans are C.M. Blade Master 2 120mm 1 80mm I know speed rage is different for the 80 (800-3000 rather than 600-2000). Would this be a problem on its own? I'm not looking to control each fan and noise isn't a factor so I'm skipping a fan controller. Thanks!
