  1. That's my goal, doing my first match in October! Got a case of 9 and an owb holster finally, could do one this month, but got a prior commitment the same night as the match.
  2. As some goober who has just got into shooting/carrying, and is also not the best shot, how does one start to get into competitive shooting or USPSA? Sorry for what might be a question for google.
  3. Finally got to break in my new conceal, shield plus, overall pretty good, it ran like a champ, ate all the jhps, and did some OU skeet before that. Good day.
  4. In case anyone comes across this thread later, I initiated a warranty claim on my power supply, and this seems to have resolved my issues.
  5. Bumping thread since no new solutions, any suggestions/ideas are welcome
  6. Update, it has been a bit more stable, but still continues to crash on ESC about every few times on the long drive. Any more ideas?
  7. Nothing looked bad, quite a bit of dust in the case, so I cleaned that out, then swapped the PCIe slots. So far it hasn't had an issue, but I'll stress test it tonight and post updates. Thanks!
  8. Hello, I have been lately experiencing a progression of game crashes. They started several months ago with just specific games here and there, then EAC games only, and now just about any game, with few exceptions. Computer goes full black, restarts. Things I've done in order: Reinstalled games Repaired EAC clients "Updated" BIOS (latest version available is from 2016) Reinstalled Windows Memtest86 (no issues) Prime95 for 3 hours (no issues) Furmark, crashed upon start up, throttled fan higher on GPU and dropped clock speed, no crashes for 3 hours. Reset GPU settings, no crashes either Finally started looking at Event viewer and found Kernel Power Error 41 and a couple others. Did software remedy for others (machine keys) and all available software remedies for Kernel Power Updated Drivers for everything I could find And it still crashes often. The latest offender is The Long Drive, half the time I go to the pause menu and come back it crashes the whole PC. Specs: i7 4770@3.40GHz (Original) 16GB 4x4GB (2x4 Pairs) HyperX Fury DDR3 1866 (Original 8, added second pair, one stick went bad, warrantied the pair, so one is possibly original, but same type the entire time) MSI Z97 PC Mate (Original) Gigabyte NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB (2016 or 2017) 1TB Samsung 850 EVO SSD (Boot Drive) (2016) 1TB WD Blue HDD (2016) EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G1 750W PSU (Original) Are there anymore software options or is it time to throw new parts at her? PSU perhaps? Would I be wrong to rule out the CPU, RAM, and GPU as causes for my woes due to prior tests? I have also indicated which parts are original from my 2014 build (which are probably dated to 2012-2013 since it was budget for me back then. Can provide additional info on request. Thanks for the help! I just want to play some games when I have time.
  9. Alright so after posting this I unplugged my computer completely and went about my day and got back home and saw your suggestions. I booted up the computer and was greeted with a "something's wrong with your windows" or something like that. So it gives me advanced options or restart. I was curious so I pressed advanced options and saw system restore, the rest were kinda useless, so I said what the hell and tried it. So far it's working fine, who would have thunk after yesterday's many failed boots. I'll be monitoring it invade it fails again and I'll resort to this thread. Thank you all!
  10. Hello this problem started yesterday, I turn on my computer and log in. After 30 seconds of doing whatever it crashes and freezes. Nothing works no clicking, no keys, nothing, just the reset button, power. Specs: i7 4790 MSI Z97 pc mate, Gigabyte 1060 gtx 6gb DDR3 8gb hyperx fury samsung evo 850 1tb I really dunno what to do, and it's really frustrating, so please help
  11. Update if the computer locks or I try to lock it, it wont load back open.
  12. @reniat I tried to boot into safe mode however the computer wouldn't recognize/power my keyboard when I got to the menu to pick the startup option : / It isnt running at 100% ghz look fine. And now magically after mashing the reset button half a dozen times it seems to be running decently but if I try to open the overlay on uplay in R6 everything freezes. Woo
  13. My computer has started acting weird and slow recently and having issues. It started with the front panel case usb's and headphone jacks not taking any input, pretty much like they aren't connected. And now today out of the blue my computer has become sluggish and is having troubles loading when I start it up and the network option on Win 10 won't come up until I unplug my wireless adapter. Also running games, such as Rainbow 6 stops working after 1 round. Programs stop responding and the taskbar doesnt update. I'm running on an SSD so my computer shouldn't be this slow. The only thing I've done to cause this, I think, was plugged in some extra salvaged ram which then the computer wouldnt start but I took it out and havent had it in since. What should I do? Specs: Operating System Windows 10 Home 64-bit CPU Intel Core i7 4770 RAM 8GB 2x4 HyperX Fury Motherboard MSI Z97 PC Mate(MS-7850) (SOCKET 0) Graphics 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti (EVGA) Storage 931GB Samsung SSD 850 EVO 1TB (SSD) 931GB Western Digital WDC WD10EZEX-75WN4A0 (SATA) Edit: I scanned for viruses in depth and got nothing.
  14. Found this through a vine, recognized the base to be careless whisper, and then found the remix. Its actually pretty good.
  15. About 1 grand. Can't quite remember why, think it had something to do with guns. I pretty much ran the money as a delivery boy from one person to his friend at the gunshop, and I got to keep 150 so it was worth imo. Now the most I carry is like 20$-30$
